She moans and stirs but doesn't open her eyes. She is still in deep sleep. I grab her waist softly and pull her closer to me, turning her around so that her ass is facing me and she has her head snuggling inside the pillows and blankets.

I put some ointment on my hand and then softly rub it on Ariella's skin. She moans again and I look at her face, seeing her lips part slightly. I focus back on the marks. They are red and angry looking and I feel a wave of possessiveness when my eyes go from the marks to the tattoo we share.

That's just another point that proves she is mine.

I'll kill anyone who thinks otherwise.

After I'm done I put the ointment on my desk and go back into the bathroom to wash my hands.

I look at Ariella one last time before I leave my room and close the door.

When I first woke up, I put briefs on. Ally has the day off because I told her I didn't need her in today. When I walk inside my kitchen, I try to ignore the anger rising up my throat when I notice my father sitting at the kitchen island, looking at his phone.

“What are you doing here? Leave.”

“Why did you call Ally off?” my dad asks, still looking at his phone.

Prick.

“Because she needed a day off.”

“She has every Sunday off, not Saturday and Sunday. So back to my original question.” My dad finally puts his phone down and looks at me. His eyes trail over my neck and my chest. Ariella's marks are on me and I'm wearing them proud because Ariella is mine and I'm hers. “Did you call her off because of the person that did that?” he asks, looking at my chest before meeting my eyes.

“Don't worry about it. Why are you here? Do you need something?” I walk towards the coffee machine and put in a pod.

“Who was the poor girl you damaged this time?”

“Ariella Madden,” I state, still looking at the coffee machine and getting it ready.

I hear the chair legs screech against the floor. “What?”

“Ariella Madden. The one I'm supposed to stay away from, remember?” I take a peek at my dad and see his jaw is clenched.

“This isn't what we discussed, Ash. Remember what I told-“

“I remember and I don't care.”

“This will ruin everything we have built, Ash. This will possibly land you in fucking prison. I told you to stay away from that girl and her fucking father. Don't test-“

I turn around to look at my dad. “I think you sometimes forget that you and I are very similar.” My dad glares at me. “I will do whatever I want with Ariella. Our relationship is none of your business and you have no right to tell me what to do with her. I will do whatever the fuck I want to with Ariella.”

“Ash-“

“Did you not listen to a word I said?” I ask, furrowing my eyebrows. '”I said that I will do whatever I want with her and you can't stop me.”

“And then what happens when her dad finds out Ash? What will you do then?”

“I'll be happy to expose his side of the case. Don't worry dad. I'm not a complete fool to the whole thing between the two of you.” My dad's fists clench and I can't help but smirk. “I know that before I was born, the two of you fought like dogs over women. Who could get the girl first? Come on, everything between the two of you, was always a competition. He got the woman of his dreams and you got a fucked up son and girlfriend who ruined him. It was always a game between the two of you.”

I got him.

“I'll take your funds. All of your money and inheritance is still under my name, along with the money Regina left you.”

I raise an eyebrow at him. “You really think I give a fuck about that?” I almost want to laugh. “Do that and see if I care. Now get out. I have some things I need to do.” I turn back around and finish making the coffee for Ariella.

Eventually I hear my father leave the kitchen and then my door opens and closes.

Fucking finally.
