Ash takes a bite out of his ice cream before licking his lips. “Probably living in New York and working as a counselor or for my father's company.”

“What does your father do?”

“He's a lawyer. He is a criminal defense attorney.”

It's funny how Ash's dad is a lawyer and so is mine.

I wonder if his dad knows my dad or if they have ever worked together. My dad does work in New York a lot and he wants me to move out there but I feel closer to my mother here in California and I don't want to leave her just yet.

“You should be a lawyer. Lawyers are hot,” I say while taking a bite of my ice cream.

I look up at Ash and see him smiling down at me. “Oh yea?”

I nod my head. “You should give me your dad's number. Maybe I can take a swing at him-“ Ash pushes me against the wall lightly making me laugh. “I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding. Your dad is probably old and wrinkly and ugly.”

“He is.”

“But you also look like him so he can't be that bad looking-“

He shuts me up by pressing his lips against mine. I can taste the chocolate flavor of his rocky road ice cream making me moan into the kiss.

Ash takes my ice cream and puts it on the table making me slide my hands up his chest and wrap my arms around his neck. His hands grip my waist and I whimper against him.

“You taste so fucking good, Ari,” he mumbles against me.

“I guess rocky road isn't that bad,” I mumble back before licking his lips and kissing him back.

“So, you're going to buy it next time?”

I push him off of me and laugh. “Just because it tastes good on you doesn't mean it tastes that good.”

Ash backs away from me and sits down taking his ice cream as he has a small smile on his face.

You wouldn't be able to notice it from far away but I see it.

And that's all that really matters.

Ash parks in front of a tall building that looks like it reaches the clouds.

I can't stop looking out the window, even when Ash parks the bike.

It looks like a luxurious, tall building that only the elite would probably live at.

I turn my head and look at Ash, “Where are we and why are we here?”

Adrenaline rushes through my bones and I feel excitement in my blood. I can't help but feel scared of what Ash might do. Ash is impulsive whenever it comes to me, I've noticed that now.

He doesn't think strategically or rationally.

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I feel a pair of hands grab my waist and pull me of the bike. I yelp and hold on to Ash as he pulls me out.
