I can hear my heartbeat in my ears, beating loudly for Ariella. I can't stop shaking from how good she feels against me.

The kiss spreads into multiple before she opens her mouth to let out a moan. I don't waste any time to thrust my tongue inside her mouth.

Thank God we are against her car because I felt like I was going to faint from just kissing her and being so connected with her.

My hand on her waist slides up to wrap my hand around her throat.

Ariella is so responsive with everything I do to her. She groans which automatically makes my cock get hard.

We are biting and tugging at each other’s lips before I hear a whistle from somewhere in the distance.

She takes her lips off mine and her chest rises and falls against my chest. She looks around the parking lot but I can't even keep my eyes off her.

Ariella is so beautiful and I want to stare into her eyes forever.

“Ariella.” She looks at me. “Come home with me.”

Ariella looks down at my lips and her eyes connect with mine. “You didn't answer the question, Ash.”

I lick my bottom lip and hold her face in my hand as I look in her eyes. “I have been in love with you, Ariella Madden since the moment I saw you in the bookstore.” I hear Ariella's breath hitch for a second. “I care about you too much to let you go.”

“Then why did you say that you didn't love me?”

I rest my forehead on hers. “Come home with me and I'll tell you.”

Ariella nips her bottom lip and nods her head. “Okay.”

I walk inside Ash's room with the first aid kit and then sit on the bed next to him.

Ash keeps his eyes on me the entire time, even when I start attending to his cuts. All I am thinking about as I clean his cuts is that he loves me.

Ash Jones loves me.

I just can't help but wonder why he says it now after everything he said to me before.

I still feel Ash's eyes on me when I clean his cuts with alcohol wipes and then put a bandaid on them all.

Thankfully the cuts aren't too deep but I notice new ones that are on his knuckles that I have never seen before. I think from how many times I have looked at his hands, I have memorized every single scar on his knuckles and knowing how he got them breaks my heart.

“Your dad threatened me,” Ash says but I still clean his cuts. Only a few more to go. “He told me that if I keep seeing you, he will take away the savings your mother gave you.”

I look up at Ash and put the wipes back inside the first aid kit. “What?” I furrow my eyebrows. “What do you mean?”

“I mean exactly what I said. Your father threatened me. That's why I had to stay away from you.”

“He said that? Why would he do that?”

“Because he cares about you.” He takes his hand away from mine and he puts it on my cheek. “I would do the same if you were my daughter.”

“Ash, that isn't for him to decide. I love my mother but money doesn't mean anything to me.”

“But it's your mother's money and she worked hard to give you that. You deserve it.”
