It's perfect.
“You look nice.” Ash gives me a small smile and I can't help but smile back at him. I'm wearing a black summer dress that falls to my mid-thighs where my back is showing and I decided to curl my hair today. “I like your hair,” Ash says while reaching out and touching a strand of my hair.
I try to ignore how hot my face feels as he admires my hair and looks at me like I am the most perfect girl in the world.
I keep my eyes on Ash and study how he looks at me. When his eyes collide with mine he lets go of my hair and I almost want to demand that he keep touching my hair.
“I like your bike.”
Ash smiles and he looks at his motorcycle. “I got it right when I turned eighteen. I’ve always wanted one.” He holds the helmet up to me. “You hair looks beautiful but I’m going to have to ruin it.”
I smile at him because how could I not. I hope I’m not blushing.
Ash pulls me against him and puts the black helmet on my head. “Where are we going?” I ask as he grabs the other helmet from his motorcycle compartment.
“The OC Fair. I’ve never been.” He explains before putting his helmet on.
Ash explains to me how I have to hold onto him tightly as he drives. I have to swerve with him when he leans down and moves. He gets on the motorcycle and holds my hand as I get on behind him. I straddle him, tightening my legs around him as the motorcycle roars to life.
“Hold on, tight.” He say before slowly pulling to the middle of the road.
We get to the fair quick.
Ash drives the motorcycle like he has been doing this his entire life. He went fast and it felt like we were flying. I kept tightening my legs around him whenever he would pass by cars.
And when he would stop at a light he would rest his hands on my thighs, softly caressing me, making butterflies appear in my stomach.
I have to keep reminding myself that this is just temporary. I have to stop feeling like this before the summer comes to an end.
When we arrive at the fair, Ash parks in the first spot he sees and then once we are in line, he trails his eyes down my body, admiring my attire. I feel blush creeping up my cheeks.
“Can you stop looking at me like that?”
“Like what?” Ash tilts his head to the side while looking down at me.
His stare is so heated and filled with lust that I can't help but feel nervous under his gaze.
“Like you want me.”
“I've wanted you since that day in the bookstore Ariella,” Ash states while still giving me that heat-filled stare.
Damn him.
Ash pays for our tickets and despite me saying that I could pay for my own ticket, he refuses to make me pay for my own.
“What do you want to do first? They have a bunch of games and then the barn where you can pet goats and other animals.”
“Let's go on some rides and then we can play games after so we don't have to hold the prizes and stuff,” Ash answers and then I feel his hand slowly slip into mine.
Seeing his big hand with veins running down his arm holding my small one makes the butterflies in my stomach go crazy again. I feel heat burst in the pit of my stomach making me look away from our hands and instead look ahead and see some rides.
Ash and I go on three rides by the time he says that we should play some games.
We went on the bumper karts which were really fun. Ash and I kept bumping into one another or I should say, he mostly was bumping into me while I was laughing uncontrollably.
I wanted to go on the ride that swings you in the air. I couldn't help but make Ash take pictures of me on that ride. I am going to end up posting some of the pictures on my Instagram later on.
Ash and I went on this other ride that wasn't as fun as those two. As Ash starts walking us to where the games are, I see his head turn to where the maze is. He looks at me and I see a glint of mischief in his eyes and I can't help but feel excited.
