"Yea but what you are asking me is going to be a very big no. You have a family that needs you to get better, Aria," Layna says but I feel like she doesn't mean my mom and dad when she says “family”.

"I'm going to do this whether you help me or not, Layna. So, either you help me find out where he is, or I go by myself to kill him."

Lately, Layna has been super stressed out. I can tell.

She has been dozing off a lot lately and I can tell she is trying hard to keep her eyes open.

Maybe telling her wasn't the best idea.

"I'm sorry, Aria. I'm not helping you."

I sigh and run my hand through my hair. "Then promise me to at least not tell anyone?" I ask Layna.

Layna shakes her head no but says, "Fine. But when you leave the house, you have three days to kill Dante and come back before I tell anyone that you left."

I lean off of the counter. "Thank you."

After Aria yelledat me in the office the other day my mind has been going crazy. I need her in my arms, helping me and making me feel better.

That's why I'm meeting with the doctor today to see what his diagnosis is for Aria.

"Aria has had a lot of traumas over the past few weeks. Luckily, she has no injuries or internal bleeding. Our main problem is obviously her memory," Charles explains.

Right now, we are in my office going over how I could make Aria remember and feel better.

Because right now she is back to hating me.

Right now, she sees me as an enemy.

And I don't want her, never want her, to see me like that.

"What caused it?"

"I felt a small bump on her head the other day and I believe that it could be when she hit her head on the floor when Dante gave her this serum."

"So, it wasn't his serum that caused this?"

"Not positive. I didn't see any trace of the serum in her blood tests. If I did then I wouldn't be so positive that it was a concussion. But then again I don't know what was in this serum," Charles explains.

"So, what should I do?"

Charles chuckles. "Never gets old when you ask me what you should do." He isn't wrong. Charles is the only person I ever ask if I should do anything when I’m uncertain. I find it funny myself. "I would try being patient with her. Don't make her remember, help her. Guide her through important memories you two had with one another."

"So, remake memories?" I raise an eyebrow at him.

"I think that's the best solution for Aria. I will look more into the serum and do some more tests on her. But for now, give her time and be patient with her. Conditions like this are never easy to live with."

"How can remaking memories work?" I ask him.

I just really want to know the best way to get Aria back, my Aria.

"Well, sometimes there's a trigger word that some patients have. This trigger word can be anything that clings on to a golden memory. Sometimes it could be a phrase or a certain action. It really just depends on the person."

"Okay." I nod my head. Charles stands up from his chair. "Aria will remember. She is a strong girl and has a lot to want to remember. Thalia for instance. I suggest letting Aria meet Thalia. Maybe that might spark something."

I didn't think of letting Aria meet Thalia.
