Alex sighed. “With certain things, no. But if I had to trust him with anything it would be you, Aria.”

I don’t say anything to Alex. I turn my head and look out the window.

I wonder if he is mad that I didn't tell him the truth about Dante.

Once we arrive, I look out the window and see a very big house.

The house has tall trees all around the structure and there are staircases on each side of the house as well.

It looks stunning.

Like a castle.

The car stops to park and Alex and I both get out at the same time another car rolls into the driveway.

"Whose house is this?" I ask Alex as we wait for Leo and Ace to get out of the car.

Alex looks down at me and I see his facial expression turn sad.

"Ace's," Alex says before Ace and Leo walk up to us. "Where's the doctor?"

"In the house now." Ace walks past us, and he doesn't even look at me while walking towards the front door.

We walk inside the house, and I immediately hear footsteps walking toward where me, Alex, Leo, and Ace are.

I see Layna walk out from the corner along with a few other people along with my mother, father, and Calla.

I open my arms so that I can hug them as they hug me back.

"Don't you ever leave me again," Layna says as she hugs me.

"Not like it was my choice," I joke, trying to make the atmosphere better than it is.

My mom and dad kiss and hug me while saying they missed me.

Once I let go, another three pairs of arms wrap around me, and I tense up.

"I missed you so much, Ari," a girl says.

When they realize I’m not saying anything or wrapping my arms around them they let go of me and furrow their eyebrows at me.

"What's wrong?" a blonde girl asks.

I look at Alex and raise my eyebrows at him.

"Aria needs to go get checked by the doctor," Leo says while grabbing the blonde girl's hand.

I talked to him just a little bit on the plane. He seems super nice. He made sure he gave me enough food to eat on the plane and that I was comfortable. Way nicer than Ace who was just sitting in one of the seats on his phone, but I would notice his eyes looking up at me every few minutes.

"What's wrong Leo?" the blonde girl asks while looking concerned.

Is she his wife?

"I need to figure out what's wrong, but I'll talk to you later. I promise. Where's Alexander?"

"Napping in Thalia's room." The blonde girl looks at me. "Are you okay, Aria?"

"Aria needs to go get checked by the doctor," Ace says as he walks towards the blonde girl and me.
