The blonde girl lets go of Leo's hand. "What's wrong with her? What did Dante do?"

"How do you know about Dante?" I furrow my eyebrows at her and walk closer to her.

The blonde girl raises her eyebrows at me. "Aria, you told me-"

"I don't even fucking know you," I state and then hands grab my wrist making me turn around to look at Ace. "Don't fucking touch me," I demand.

Ace's jaw clenches and he lets go before walking away.

I turn my head to look back at the blonde girl and then everyone else behind her.

"Okay, Aria needs to get checked. We'll update you later," Leo says before kissing the blonde girl's head and walking towards the direction Ace went.

I turn around to look at Alex and he still has that hurt look on his face. "Let's go," Alex says before turning and walking to where Leo and Ace went.

I follow Alex in the same direction.

Alex, Leo, Ace, and I are now in a room that looks like a nurse's room but why would Ace have this kind of room in his house? It's just such a random room to have in a house. But he is a Mafia boss so it's not random.

"Dr. Charles." The doctor shakes my hand when I walk into the room. "Please have a seat." I sit down on the bed they have in the room while Ace is standing next to the doctor and Leo and Alex are sitting on the chairs. "So, tell me what's going on," the doctor looks at Ace.

"Her memory is fried. She doesn't remember a thing that happened in the last two years."

The doctor widens his eyes and looks at me. "Aria, can you please tell me the last thing you remember and then what happened during the time you were held in Dante's estate."

"Last thing I remember is my best friend Layna and I talking about going out to this party with our friend Cole. I was about to go ask my dad but then my memory is kind of blurry from that point on."

"What happened while you were in Dante's estate? Do you remember if he gave you anything or when he captured you?"

"No. I don't remember him capturing me. I woke up and saw him and I then tried to figure out how I ended up in the cell with him. He didn't reveal anything to me other than this serum he gave me."

The doctor furrows his eyebrows at me. "Serum?"

"He said something about this serum he gave me and how it worked really well. He didn't tell me anything about it. He just kept going on and on about how this serum he gave me worked and how my brain is fried."

The doctor nods his head. "I'm going to need to do a couple of tests on her." The doctor writes something down on his clipboard and then looks at me. "The best thing for her right now is to let her rest. She has been through a lot. I'm going to have her do some blood tests to see if she has any more drugs in her system. I'm going to have one of the female nurses come in and take a look at her body to make sure that there is nothing else wrong."

"Is there any way for her to remember?" Ace asks the doctor, and he gives Ace an unsure look.

"Right now, I'm not sure. I have to do some tests on her before giving you an answer."

"When will I get an answer?" Ace asks in a stern tone.

"Probably a week or so from now. I'll do most of the tests by today and have my nurse come in to check her out as well. But until then I need her to get as much rest as possible."

Ace nods his head, and I can see his jaw clenching before he leaves the room without looking at anyone.

Eleven

I get wokenup by the light shining in my eyes.

Someone opened the blinds while I was sleeping because I remember closing them. I hate it when the sun shines in my eyes when I first wake up.

I take the covers off and walk towards the blinds to close them.

I'm in one of the guest rooms right now.

Today the doctor is going to be testing me to see what happened to my memories. I did blood work yesterday and I haven't heard what my diagnosis was for that.
