I screwed up my nose. “No thanks, not a golfer.”
“How ‘bout you, Dimps?” Matt asked.
Tilly leaned over the centre console to look out the passenger side window. “Did he just call you Dimps?”
Lucas answered by poking his fingers in the dimples of his cheeks.
“Dimps …that’s so funny.” She laughed. “Wait ‘til I tell Bec.”
Lucas groaned. “Fuck.”
“I sense much fear in you,” Noah said, pointing at Lucas.
Tilly cracked up laughing and quoted, “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger; anger leads to hate; hate leads tosuffering.”
Noah’s eyes widened. “You know Star Wars?”
“Know it? I live and breathe it.”
They both smiled at each other, longer than they perhaps should’ve.
I bit my lip. “I hate to break this up, but it was lovely meeting you, Tilly. Thank you for bringing us back here.”
“Not a problem at all.” She smiled at Noah again. “Did you guys say you were headed to the golf range?”
“Yeah. Why? You play?”
“Noooooo, but I can take you there. It’s right near my house.”
Noah looked at Matt, and Matt shrugged. “Sure.”
“Cool. Jump in.”
They both climbed into Tilly’s car, all three of them waving out the window as she drove off.
“What just happened?” Lucas asked.
I laughed. “I’m not sure.”
He stared at the rear end of her car until it turned the corner and was out of sight.
“Do you want to go after them?” I asked, biting back my smile.
Lucas blinked and then focussed on me, more so my legs then my hips, breasts, face, and breasts again. “No.” His eyes darkened.
My body felt touched, inside and out by just his stare. It woke the deepest parts of me, parts I wanted only him to awaken.
Stepping up to him, I placed one hand on his chest, the other on the back of his head, and whispered into his ear, “Do you want to come with me instead?”
His hands found my hips and they tensed. “I’ve been thinking about coming with you all night.”
“Good, because I have plans.”
“Plans?” Excitement flecked his eyes.
“Yes.” I turned around and headed for the elevators, my heels clicking on the ground with each deliberate sashay of my hips. “So you might not want to be late.”
My body bounced off thewall in the entryway to my suite and then off another, Lucas’s hands ravishing my body, my hands ravishing his. We stumbled through the suite to the bedroom where I pushed him back onto the mattress and took a much-needed breath.
