“Running isn’t his thing,” says Bria, grinning.

“You ain’t gonna find a biker in there who loves a run,” he says with a laugh as he lights up.

“You look pretty fit,” says Bria, and I gasp at her brazen flirting.

Boss laughs some more, blowing out a plume of smoke. “Baby, I can fuck for hours. It keeps me fighting fit.”

Bria blushes, and I continue to stare between the pair, feeling like I’m in the way. She loves a flirt and even a cheeky kiss on occasion, but she never takes it further. I don’t blame her, but I doubt she’ll ever trust a man again. “On that note, I’m gonna take a shower,” she says coyly, heading inside.

Boss’s attention falls to me. “You realise you set the whores a challenge last night?”

“I do,” I say, shrugging. “But I’ve given them a warning. They hit on him, I start breaking fingers.”

He grins. “I missed you. It was a mistake, you leaving like you did.”

“Oh yeah, why’s that?”

“You lost the respect of the men,” he says casually.

I scoff, heading for the door. “You think that bothers me after what happened to my sister in this clubhouse?” He has the decency to look away. “I lost respect for the guys way before I left, Boss, so if you think this little conversation was an eye opener for me and I’m gonna break my back to try to win the guys over, you’re wrong. If anything, it’s you lot who need to impress me.” And I saunter away.Prick.

I pause in Bully’s office doorway as he tucks into a full English breakfast. It’s weird seeing him sitting behind that big old desk, but strangely, it suits him. Maybe deep down, I always knew this was coming. It didn’t stop me wanting him anyway. It still doesn’t.

He glances up. “You okay?”

I nod, crossing my arms as I move closer. “You ever think about sharing me?”

He inhales, almost choking on a mouthful of bacon. “Huh?”

I shrug casually. “With another man . . . or woman?”

“What the fuck? Where is this coming from?”

“Bria mentioned something, and it got me thinking.”

He rounds the desk, his face full of concern. We’ve always been adventurous in bed, but I’ve never even thought what it’d be like to share him. I shudder at the thought as he grabs my hands. “No, I haven’t. Why the fuck would I share what’s mine?”

I smirk, running my finger over his chest. “Maybe it’d be fun. Me. You.” I glance around before adding, “One of your brothers.”

His eyes narrow, and he shoves the door closed as he pulls me into his arms and kisses me. I begin to giggle, and he pulls back. “You’re winding me up?” I nod, laughing as he lifts me into his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist. “You look good in Lycra,” he whispers against my lips, “but get it off.”

The tension is palpable, and wherever I go, club whores are whispering. I rise above it, ignoring them. They’ll get used to things. I find Bully about to go into church and pull him aside. “I want to invite my friends over.”

He gives me that look that tells me he’s about to object and come up with a ridiculous reason, so I kiss him until he can’t breathe and smile. “Please.”

“It’s not a good idea. Outsiders make the brothers uneasy.”

“Outsiders?” I repeat. “They’re my friends, and if I’m going to be part of this club again, I want them around too.”

“I’ll run it by the guys.”

I frown. “Aren’t you in charge?”

He sighs. “It doesn’t work like that. This is their home too, and they shouldn’t feel uncomfortable.”

“Fine. But if they agree, I want the whores out for the night.”

He scoffs until I arch a brow to show I’m serious. His smirk fades. “They’ll never allow that.”
