“It is,” Shauna replied with a grin. “Trust me, it looks even better up close. And the inside? Pure luxury. We’re going there.”

“Oh, I’ve been wanting to visit.”

Aditya chuckled. “It’s just a hotel.”

Sabrina shot him a look, half-teasing. “Spoken like someone who probably stays there all the time.”

He glanced at her, a smile tugging at his lips. “Actually, I do stay there. Several times a year.”

“Youstaythere?” she asked, her voice laced with awe. “I was joking when I said that.”

The corners of his mouth lifted. “Yeah. Akash and I are both staying there.”

“Akash is also staying there?” Shauna asked, her voice laced with surprise.

Akash turned to look at her. “Yes. Why do you sound so shocked?”

“I’m not,” Shauna replied.

“Good,” he muttered, facing forward.

Shauna mumbled something under her breath that sounded a lot like, “Spoilt brat. Living off big sis’s money.”

Sabrina tensed at the remark, but no one else seemed to have heard it, thankfully.

Aditya turned slightly toward her, causing his knee to brush against hers. “This is your first time here, right?”

“Yes.”

She focused on the glowing skyline blurring past them, refusing to acknowledge the heat radiating from his body or the way it made her stomach dip with unsettling intensity.

Everything felt bigger, brighter, and somehow, more alive at night. She hadn’t had a chance to explore the city yet, so now, seeing it like this—on the move, under a canopy of stars—felt like she was finally catching a glimpse of the Singapore she’d only heard about.

“Well then,” Aditya said, his tone easy, soft. “I’d like to show you around my favorite city.”

Something about the way he said it—gentle, sure, like a quiet promise—sent a flutter through her. And suddenly, she felt like this trip might truly end up changing more than she’d anticipated.

“Oh my God, is that a Ferris Wheel?”

Aditya chuckled at the sound of Sabrina’s shocked whisper the moment they stepped into The Marquee—Singapore’s famous nightclub. Her mouth was parted in awe as she turned in a slow circle, taking in the soaring ceilings, the kaleidoscope of lights, and the giant indoor Ferris wheel spinning above the crowd like something out of a dream.

“This is aclub?” she breathed.

Aditya grinned. “Welcome to Singapore’s nightlife. You haven’t seen anything yet.”

His eyes landed on her, and a slow smile curved his lips. Fuck, she was so pretty. Why had he never really seen it before? Maybe it was the lighting, or maybe it was simply her. Her complexion, warm and glowing under the club’s shifting lights, made her features stand out even more. Her eyes sparkled beneath her long lashes, framed by eyeliner that made them look striking. Her high cheekbones were flushed with heat, and her full lips were painted a bold, deep red that drew all his attention. Her short black dress hugged her chest and waist before falling loosely to her knees, and her long, shapely legs were accentuatedby a pair of spiky black heels. The only pop of color on her body was the bright green purse slung across her shoulder. Sabrina looked… incredible.Different and alive in a way that made it almost impossible to look away.

Forcing his gaze away from her, he began to follow Akash and Shauna as they headed deeper into the club, to the table that had been reserved for them. Once there, Akash ordered a round of drinks for everyone. Again, Aditya found himself watching the changing expressions on Sabrina’s face.

Her head was tilted back, her eyes wide. The flashing LEDs painted shifting colors across her face—first blue, then gold, then a pulse of red that caught in her hair. Her mouth was slightly agape, and when the bass dropped, she grinned.

She turned to him, eyes shining.

“This is insane!” she shouted over the music.

“Yeah. It is.”
