Several of the Warriors, and those in wolf form, went to the ground from my mate’s roar. Dylan said, “Now, now everyone. There is no need for anyone to panic. I know what you are thinking, but THAT is not a white wolf. It is clearly a white and red wolf, as its beautiful white fur is now covered in blood. Let’s all be honest and admit that blood just isn’t coming out.”
“So technically, it’s a soon to be pink wolf because there is nothing that will remove the stain of red from the beautiful, shimmering white fur. We’ll have to console the little wolf who someone should’ve told to be careful about mixing colors with her whites.”
Dylan shouted, “Also, someone will have to inform Alpha Baby Daddy we now have a non-Fairy charmed pink wolf. Which means he has lost his title to being the only pink wolf we have seen. Even though it was for a short while he was pink another now shall surpass him. It will be a devastating blow to him, but my fabulous memo from retirement SHALL GET HIM THROUGH! We will rally behind Alpha Baby Daddy.”
Dad yelled, “DYLAN!” Dylan replied, “Yes, SGAP. I am at your service. I am here to get us all through this shocking turn of honest to god, life changing events.” The guy with the Fairy charm wanted my mate captured
I snarled from my soul even without Oden there. EJ nudged me saying, “That’s not happening. We will protect the white wolf.” Dylan corrected him, “SOON TO BE PINK WOLF, MINI ALPHA PRICK. It’s an important detail, but I am catching your drift. I’m picking up what you’re throwing down.”
Dylan pointed, “Oh look it’s an electric, soon to be pink, wolf. You have to feel a little bad she’s never done laundry, and no one told her about mixing colors. Her fur practically shimmered before. I bet it will still shimmer, just pink. Pink is pretty.”
Dad shouted, “DYLAN, SHUT UP AND FIGHT THE GUY BEHIND YOU!” Phil linked me, “Holy mother of god! That’s Melanie!” I replied, “I am aware.” Phil linked, “SHE’S ELECTRIC! LOOK AT HER!” I watched Melanie as she lit up yellow and studied the field.
Gage linked, “NOOOOOOOO!” Dad just stalled and his jaw dropped. So, he knew too. I replied to my Gamma, “Yes.” The eyes staring at me from across the field were Melanie's. Hers eyes were not black as the rest of ours were when we were in wolf form. My mate’s eyes told me that she wanted to come to me, but she was going to my mom.
Melanie put her mom on her back and took off with a duffle bag in her mouth, I recognized it. Our Warriors had a stash ofLaxenread in them. EJ stated the obvious, “The white wolf came from our territory.” Elise whispered, “Wow.” So, they had no idea.
Freya started electrocuting everyone that came at her. Dylan was staring between me and the white wolf before tilted his head to watch, “Oh HELL no. NO! I refuse the idea that’s forming. I reject it from my soul. That’s a no go from Dylan Frost.”
Dylan looked up at the sky and yelled, “I SAID NO! DO YOU ALL HEAR ME UP THERE! BAD! BAD GODDESSES! NO!” Lucas frowned asking, “Dylan?” Travis Frost laughed, “No way man.” Dylan agreed, “Exactly, little brother. NO! In fact, hellllllll to the no! Do you hear me up there because I didn’t see a lightning strike for confirmation? DYLAN FROST IS SAYING NO!”
Dad shouted, “FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WILL YOU SHUT UP DYLAN!” Dylan snarked, “OHH, you’d just like that wouldn’t you?! You OVERLY OBNOXIOUS, ANNOYING MAN!” My mom’s shock and then understanding lit through our bond.
Mom linked me, “That’s Melanie, isn’t it? She’s the legend of the white wolf.” I answered, “I don’t think we can call it a legend anymore, but yes that is my mate.” My mom realized, “That’s what your tattoo means then. Yours is black and white because of Oden and hers is white because of her wolf. Oden is Black and white because you are meant for the white wolf.” My eyes widened as that accuracy of that statement clicked.
I nearly fell over when Oden linked, “Mate is perfect.” I asked, “How are you back already?! Is it because I didn’t take more than one drink of that shit from the waiters?” Oden snorted, “No, it has nothing to do with how many drinks you had. Mate can always heal me. She’ll have to pick someone else. Mate’s not trained so only two wolves will heal. In a minute we can shift.”
It would be my dad. I linked him, “Thor is back, right?” Dad answered, “Yes. I know that white wolf is Melanie. Dylan’sparents did extensive research on the legend. The white wolf when untrained, can heal her mate and one other. Dylan has more details because he studied their things after they died.”
I asked, “Why? Didn’t he hate them?” My dad snorted, “He can’t help himself. Dylan Frost likes to know things. I also think he just wanted to know what was worth losing their family over.” I snorted, “Nothing.”
My dad responded, “I agree. His parents went about it the wrong way. It does shorten our research though. DAMN IT! We’ll have to ask Dylan Fucking Frost for the information. GOD he’ll say he’s the white wolf expert now too. Great.” To be fair, Dylan would be right about that particular title, but I didn’t feel the need to say that.
Several people were retreating since they realized they couldn’t capture Melanie considering she was shocking all of them while hurting none of us. My mate took off like a shot towards the man with a Fairy charm. My Lovebug shocked wolves along the way.
I watched in awe as Freya’s chest literally shot bolts at the Wolves fighting Tristan and Dalton. Dalton snorted, “I say that we keep her. The white wolf is awesome and a legend. She’s clearly on our side anyway.” I growled and shifted into Oden.
Dylan shouted as my dad and I shifted. My dad sighed, “There will be no living with him after this. Dylan already never shuts up, but this…” He trailed off then groaned, “God, he’s going to be so annoying about this. Which will lead to other things.”
I took off after Melanie. Oden and I snarled when we discovered who our mate was after. My dad linked, “What?” I told him, “The guy with the Fairy charm is Trevogre.” My dad growled as he ripped through wolves.
Cousin Emmaline’s eyes were wide as she watched me run after Melanie. She clearly knew who the white wolf was too.Lucas’ mouth was dropped open, so he was also in the know. It made sense they’d know more because Dylan did.
Melanie had reached Trevor while my siblings started using their powers along with my mom. Combined with my dad having his wolf back and my Hackura uncles being here it was a bloodbath for the other side.
Dylan sighed, “Why didn’t we just sit down and wait for the assassins to take care of this? Plus, we have the soon to be electric pink wolf over there on our side killing people. I could be eating popcorn. Oh wait!” He pulled some out of his pocket and began to eat it.
Jason snarled, “IS THAT TREVOR MCCANN?!” Dakota answered, “You know it is. We’ve memorized his damn picture.” Melanie dragged him back to the group. I was fairly proud that I was pretty close behind her.
My mate appeared to be in shock. Which was fair. Dalton questioned, “How about the fact that the white, and yes I said white Dylan Frost, wolf just made Trevor shift back? Is anyone going to comment on that?”
Peter answered, “I mean son, there’s a white electric white wolf among us. I think after that, we just simply say she’s a legend and we accept that she can do things.” Dylan snorted, “That would be the tip of the iceberg my friend Peter.”
My dad shifted back, and mom snapped him clothes. KJ, Chason, and Fowler had run up with our Warriors. All their eyes were wide. Of course they’d run into Melanie. She didn’t know where the duffle bag of Laxenread was, but they did. My mate clearly took it from them.
I felt realization crash into Melanie. My dad linked, “She can’t shift back here in the open. We don’t know what eyes are around.” I assured him, “Based on the feelings shooting up my foot from the tattoo I got from my WHITE WOLF MATE, she’s not going to shift back. Melanie’s going to run.”
Gage linked, “What the shit is happening?! My threshold for crazy is not low as your Gamma, but this is peak madness.” I answered, “I know what you know.” Phil linked, “So, I’m at a loss for words. Which is odd. So, remain calm.” I snorted back.
