I snarled, “WHAT?!” My dad said, “We’ve caught the guys red handed. Rather Paige, Avery and Addison did. Word of advice, son, do not mess with this Witch. She’s not to be trifled with.” I snorted, “I had no intention of messing with her.” My dad replied, “Tristan is a little perturbed.” I sighed, “We are coming.”
I turned to EJ, “We need to get to Red Run.” EJ shrugged, “Why not?” I told Dylan, “Do what you do, I guess. I’m sure you’ll have Cassie come get you. Get all the information you can that we didn’t think to ask.”
Dylan replied, “You bob and I weave and hide in the shadows to lurk with the information. By the by, did you know your father in law’s wolf is descendant of a god, which means Drake himself is.” I gaped at him. Oden offered, “I did know that.” What the fuck, Oden?! Oden said, “Well, not until recently.” When he heard Freya’s name probably. Or Freya told him.
EJ shouted, “WHAT?!” Dylan nodded, “Yup. Don’t worry, he knows. I told him at one of our white wolf classes. I was just going to tell him that because I thought it was a fun fact. I didn’t know he was actually a descendant. Pepper is actually the name of Selene and Freya’s dad’s wolf. He chose his human form in the end.”
EJ said, “Oh my god.” Dylan hummed, “Guess who remembered once I said that aloud?” I groaned, “Pepper.” Dylan nodded, “Yes, but Freya must know.” Oden said, “I know she does because she’s the one that told me.” I didn’t reply.
Dylan continued, “Apollo and Ajax are her cousins. Gods and goddesses have off periods. So, methinks, and Pepper confirmed, that Selene and Freya’s Grandpapa had a dalliance with a Werewolf that resulted in the McAlister’s on an off period.”
“The wolf’s name that threw off my GLORIOUS reveal was when we were LIED to and everyone said MelAshley’s wolf was Ember. I could not find anything on it, and it threw off my whole fun. It should’ve been my clue it was all a lie.”
Lacy cooed, “You did look through those texts with a fine tooth comb, but that even has a purpose now. You took new notes, and your class is so popular that the Fae vied for who gets to come.” Dylan agreed, “Right you are.” EJ said, “We need someone at this meeting.” Dylan grinned, “Jim comes.” We needed more people.
I linked Gage and Phil, “One of you go to Dylan’s White Wolf class. He just casually told us my mate is in a family line descended from gods. Pepper was Selene and Freya’s father’s wolf.” Gage shouted, “Me! I’m going for sure.” Phil snorted, “I might join but you can do that.”
I told Dylan, “Gage will be there from now on.” Dylan squealed, “A GAMMA COMING TO MY CLASSES! I like this. I must collect more positions. Come on Mini KAP.” EJ rolled his eyes, “Really? I’m King Alpha Prick? I’ll get you someone for the class.”
Dylan clapped, “Yay! More pupils. Drake, Beta T, and Male Lead Warrior Jase’s faces were priceless last class and I plan to top that.” How? Oden hummed, “Fang thinks they can.” Goodie. I said, “Well, get more information and have fun.” Dylan saluted me.
EJ and I popped out. I grabbed Melanie the second I saw her. Dalton linked me, “Angela said you could help me when she called ten minutes ago before this all happened.” I chuckled, “Of course she did. Since my sister cannot lie, she definitely told the truth.”
Oden linked, “Snow told us mate had conversations that had to happen here.” I admitted, “I forgot because we heard our mate is LITERALLY from the line of a god and their wolves arearound.” Oden asked, “Would now be a bad time to say we likely are as well?” I’d have to ask Thor.
I couldn't deny I was curious about what Melanie was off to do. Tristan followed her out of the room. Dalton and Dakota ordered Warriors to take the prisoners to the dungeons. My dad linked me, “Dear god, your mother is googling Twitter.” I snorted because that would be funny.
My dad said out loud, “Let’s go home, Angel.” My mom muttered, “Sure. Home.” She was totally enthralled by whatever she was reading. Mom still popped away. My Uncle Aiden winked and popped out. My Uncle Bjourn nodded to me then left.
I turned to Dalton and asked, “What’s up? Angela said you had plans.” Dalton sighed. Dakota laughed, “He wants to propose, but he has all these ideas that keep getting crazier. He can’t pick one to go with.” I snorted, “Does one of them involve a dance?”
Dalton’s head whipped up, “It does! Paige didn’t have a normal school experience that she can remember. She was homeschooled, and when she met Ladybug she studied with her to pass a GED. Our girls are really smart.” I nodded because I’d figured that out.
I told him, “I’ve been wanting to organize a dance with everyone for Melanie.” Tristan walked back into the room looking like he was walking on air. My mate’s brother declared, “Ladybug would love that.”
I said, “I know that. What’s up with you?” Tristan said, “Ladybug and I took a run, in wolf form.” Oden grumbled, “I don’t get to shift enough with mate.” I assured him, “We will get out to run more together. Ok?” Oden agreed, “Ok.”
I told Tristan, “I’m really happy for you.” Dalton clapped him on the back. Dakota said, “Avery says that Paige will love thattoo.” Avery, Addison, and Jason came back into the room. I asked, “Where’s Paige?”
Avery smiled, “She just left for a Coven meeting. We’re here to help because Angela called. I have to admit I like that little Fairy.” EJ laughed, “Of course. Angela enjoys meddling for a good cause.” Addison said, “We need a hot and cold theme.”
EJ asked, “Why? I’ve never heard of a hot and cold dance theme.” Avery laughed, “We’ve thought about it for a while. Plus, we’ve been friends with them for years. Paige’s favorite color is blue, and Melanie’s is red. You combine them and you get hot and cold or fire and ice themes. We’ll invite some people too. You guys invite your friends.”
Avery handed EJ and me a picture. There was a staircase with fire on one side, and water on the other. One led to a red side with fire and red lights. That looked like everywhere you stepped was fire. The other side was water, and the ground looked like you were stepping on water. It was really pretty.
Avery teased, “Well, what are you waiting for? Go to the school.” I explained, “Dalton will need permission to…” Avery interrupted, “I already got it. I went to the Melanie school of getting things done. The gym is open to you to do your thing.”
I told her, “Be sure you invite Cassie and her Leadership team.” Avery nodded, “Cayden has already been invited so she’s coming. Si will let Tory, Gia, Geneiveve, Abigial, and company know. I would like to say that I do know all of your pack leadership teams. I passed the test on them, I just don’t want to list them off right now.”
I laughed, “Alright then.” EJ asked, “The test?” I answered, “It’s Melanie’s test. They definitely know all the allies pack leaderships.” EJ nodded. Dalton cleared his throat, “So you think Paige will like being proposed to in front of people?”
Avery answered, “Yes. It’s not going to be a bunch of strangers. Paige likes big displays of affection anyway, fromwhat she remembers she was hidden. It was cosmic intervention she happened to meet Melanie.”
I asked, “How did that happen? We know Paige was rescued.” Addison laughed and said, “A tip. Now, shoo and do the decorations.” EJ snorted, “We just got shooed.” I nodded, “So we did.” Oden hummed, “I only accept that because it’s for mate.”
EJ and I popped to the gym and snapped everything the girls had requested. I popped back, grabbed Addison, and popped her to the gym. Addison gasped, “Having Fairies who know their powers like the back of their hand is so cool.”
I chuckled, “Technically we are partial Fairies.” Addison shrugged, “It’s still cool and time saving.” She squealed and told us, “They will love it! Hell, it’s better decorated than any dance we've ever been to. I’m sure this is standard for you guys since all of you are around.”
