I looked to my right, feeling eyes on me. I found Hastein and Gabe staring at me with open interest. I had to get off everyone’s radar… fast. Freya snorted, “That’s not happening.” I replied, “Uhh if Kingsley comes back Hastein would be busy… and maybe we can set Angelique up with Gabe… they’d be cute.” Freya chuckled.

Phil pointed out the Supernatural Council was coming. Xander’s extreme agitation shot up my foot. Logically… the Supernatural Council would’ve come without this information.Freya said, “But they don’t know you went to the Council, so they don’t know that.” I replied, “Ok fine… that’s true.”

I ignored Eric’s jab about not getting emails. CRAP! He knew too many things. I should’ve known it was suspicious to them now that I was here. They weren’t suspicious before… or they were… .and now that I was here, they had a place to direct those suspicions.

Phil had gotten an additional file I hadn’t meant to give him about my plan to blackmail the Supernatural Council. I linked, “SIERRA!” Sierra laughed, “I have to help my Beta mate how I can. He doesn’t have everything.” Ok… well at least he didn’t have all of it.

I quickly explained my logic. TJ linked, “My mom does agree with you, but your feelings tell me a whole other story from your evasions. You loathe the Supernatural Council and feel they betrayed you personally before all this.” Well… TJ was cheating with his empathetic ability. Freya cackled in my head.

I told my future brother in law, “They did… and it’s gets into a whole thing… but they are going down so hard… people will talk about it forever.” TJ replied, “I’m definitely in.” Well… that was good for me, but very bad for the Supernatural Council. I was going to run with it.

Haley had a look in her eye like she wanted to discuss something with me. I hoped she knew that I’d absolutely let her go at the Supernatural Council. I wasn't going to stop that. I just wanted it done in the right time frame. Xander wasn’t a fan of the plan, but I could tell he saw the logic in it.

Xander didn’t think the council had asked for their families help. Actually, they had. Quite a bit. I just blocked their requests. Their messengers that dared to ask to use Angela… got sent back to said council, missing appendages, admitting they never reached EJ or Alexander with the request.

They also might have had a Resistance circle spray painted on their chest or forehead. They wanted to use pups, and I wanted them to know that we held them in league with the Ring for those actions. I glanced up and saw EJ’s eyes on me.

I quickly looked away and found Hastein, Bjourn, and Gabe’s eyes on me too. Or still there? They’d been staring earlier…and staring was rude. Freya laughed. Ugh, it was. Could they stop looking at me like that? I looked down and started picking at my shirt.

Freya linked, “You do realize that your actions answer their unspoken questions.” I shot back, “Well… staring is rude.” Freya laughed, “So you thought at me just seconds ago.” It remained true because people said that to me as a pup.

Sierra linked, “I got this.” She pointed out I needed to prepare for the wolf less lessons. Oh gosh! I hadn’t even started anything. Thank goodness Abigial was on set up, but I need to review everything. I quickly left the room, and all the questions behind.

I’d start with a basic plan for the wolf less by proving to them that they were just as strong and fast as anyone else. I knew what they’d watched wolves do. So that wasn’t hard. My phone rang after I’d put the basics together. I told Abigial, “The set up is perfect thank you.”

I answered my phone, “Hi, Tristan.” My brother growled, “WHAT IS THIS EMAIL?” I replied, “Umm …. I explained it… in the email.” Tristan snorted, “I see that.” I asked, “Then why did you ask?” Tristan groaned, “YOU HACKED THE SUPERNATURAL COUNCIL!”

I snorted, “And? It’s not like they can say anything. They are doing shady things themselves… plus they don’t know I did it. I’m basically on a righteous crusade.” Tristan sighed, “You do remember the saying two wrongs don’t make a right.”

I hummed, “Yeah but three left turns make a right so…” Tristan laughed, “Be careful. We don’t need them coming afteryou.” I snorted, “They will. You might want to beef up border patrol because it’s not just me they want to muzzle.”

“They don’t know about the white wolf thing… but they do know I know they're incompetent… I’m not the only one that knows that, though. Two of them are your Luna’s. The other is your Male Lead Warrior’s mate. They don’t know that Dalton and Dakota are fully aware of their failings.”

Tristan asked, “How do you know that Dalton and Dakota know that?” I snorted, “I know my friends. Avery and Addison would’ve told their mates. Paige has absolutely zero scruples about throwing Edward under any bus she sees. She hates him… so my friend absolutely told Dalton all she knew… who would’ve told Dakota. They know and so do you.”

Tristan sighed, “You’re too damn smart, Ladybug. They will try to come after you.” I snorted, “Uh huh… we already said that. Did you know Xander’s Guard is around?” I could sense all three of them now… or Freya could. They were further away, and I usually had to be closer. Freya snickered.

Tristan said, “Huh. Is that so?” I sighed, “You knew. Are they watching me all the time?” Tristan said, “I don’t know how I could possibly know that.” I gaped at my phone, “Umm, you’re best friends with Levi… who knows… or my mate could’ve told you… or he could’ve told Jason… who would’ve told you. There are a lot of options.”

My wolf less group began to trickle in. I told Tristan, “I’ve got to go. I’ve got a Warrior training to do… but beef up your patrols… now.” Tristan said, “You think they will be here today.” I said, “Thinking is a word… one could use” Tristan shouted, “You know?!” I replied, “Gotta go bye.”

I texted Paige, Addison and Avery from my watch to be ready to hit the holoport to our lands. We were going to hit the Supernatural Council with blackmail together. I closed that down and focused on the group that came in.

I smiled greeting, “I’m Melanie McAlister.” Several laughed. I sighed, “I guess everyone knows that. Let’s start with warm ups.” I lead them through the same ones all the Warriors do. I put them with sparring partners.

I grabbed several tennis balls and started throwing them at groups. They quickly caught them and kept fighting while I just kept throwing them. Once I called the sparring to an end, one girl asked, “Why did you keep throwing those at us?”

I answered, “To prove a point. You’ve seen the other Warriors do this…right?” The girl nodded. I asked, “Did they have some ability to do something you did not do?” They all looked at each other. One guy said, “No, they catch the ball and keep fighting too.”

I nodded asking, “So why do all of you stick to level one Warrior classes with only a few of you attempting level two status?” They all looked at each other. I sighed, “Look, I get it. Better than probably anyone else here. I didn’t know I had a wolf.”

“I thought that somehow… let’s not talk about that… it was messed up… However, I trained harder and pushed myself more than anyone else. I wasn't going to let not having a wolf define me. I became the Female Lead Warrior at sixteen with my wolf locked away.”

“I beat Black Path’s pack leadership in a fight in both their wolf and human forms. There is no reason you all can’t rise in the ranks…. or challenge to be the Lead Warrior, with some practice. You think because you don’t have a wolf… they can do more than you.”

“If you were fighting a wolf… they have canines, sure…but you can have a gun or a knife… you have the advantage. You have to use what you have. What you have is the same speed, agility, and sense of smell that werewolves have.”

“You also have faster healing than humans. Not quite that of someone with a wolf…but it’s still faster. We are going to add weapons training to your schedules. You should be armed, but there’s no reason you can’t run a patrol.”
