“So…”
“They’ve been good. Today’s a little rough because I can’t play, and well…”
“Yeah,” he nods. “That’s why I asked.”
“Thanks, puppy.”
“I love you, Peris.”
“And I love you, Abel.”
“Oh, would you two quit being so sweet. We’re gonna be fucking late.”
“Fuck yourself,” I snap at Gabe, who just walks right into my room.
“What if I was naked?” Abel says as he peels himself away from me.
“Nothing I haven’t seen before,” Gabe says as he plops down on my bed with a cackle.
“Ha, right. The hotel,” I muse, shaking my head, but when I look up and see my runtandGabe both slightly flushed with embarrassment, I rear back. “Excuse me?” I say, deathly quiet.
“Oh, shit. You didn’t tell him?” Gabe says, face paling as much as it can as he looks to Abel.
I glare between my boyfriend and my best friend. “What the fuck happened.” It’s not a question.
“Yo, I accidentally?—”
“You knew I was in the bathroom!”
“I didn’t know you would be…” Gabe trails off, and this time, instead of paling, he flushes the brightest red I have ever seen, and I can’t help but throw my head back and laugh.
So,that’swhat this is about.
I arch a brow. “Did Gabe walk in on you, puppy?”
“Yes,” Abel says, unabashed. “He should’ve knocked.”
“You should have locked the goddamn door!” Gabriel says, affronted.
“I was waiting for Peris!”
“Oh!” I shout, startling them both. “That was the night that we?—”
“Yes,” Abel cuts me off with a hiss.
“In the bathroom, when it got real messy…”
“Oh, God,” Gabe groans, flopping back on the bed and covering his face with his hands.
Abel grins. “Yes, baby.”
I smirk at him. “What a good night. No wonder you were so hot and bothered. You gotinterrupted…”I tease him, and I relish in making him flush all the way down his long, slender neck.
“Fuck you,” he snaps, and I grin.
“Yeah, baby. Fuck me.”
“In your dreams, Baxter.”
“Maybe tonight, even,” I retort, and Abel sucks in a breath at the promise of something different between us.
Maybe it’s time to give that part of myself to him, too.
He already has all the rest.
THE END.
