Blinking up at the ceiling, pleasantly tingly and sore, I scrub a hand up and down my face.
Four times.
We had sex four times in a row, without stopping. He’s the Energizer Bunny on steroids. But damn if it wasn’t good. Josh knew what he was doing. The tilt to his hips, the pace, everything. I’m dripping with his cum, and I can’t seem to care as a lazy, satisfied smile splits my lips.
The man in question saunters out of the bathroom. That glorious member of his is out and still half-hard. His body is immaculate—all those cut muscles, tattoos, and yumminess. I can’t believe he’s mine.
Mine.
Damn.
It doesn’t seem real.
Kneeling on the end of the bed with a damp washcloth in hand, the sexy blond crawls over to me, fits himself between my spread legs, and gently cleanses my lady bits. I sigh. This is nice. Nobody has ever cared for me like this before. Just as no man has ever looked at me the way he does—with a heady mixture of lust, love, and a sweetness that squeezes my heart.
“How are you feeling, beautiful?” he asks.
Stretching my arms to the headboard, I stifle a yawn. “Tired, but good.”
“I lasted longer than I thought I would.”
“Yeah.” I chuckle. “You came four times.” And those sounds he made… Sweet almighty. So hot.
Josh waggles his brows. “And you came five. I counted.”
He’s right, I did. They were a slow, delicious build, and then heaven. He followed me over every time, except for the last two, which snuck in one right after the other.
Once Josh is finished cleaning up the mess he made, he throws the washcloth on the floor and stretches out beside me. He pats his chest for me to join, and I rest my cheek on his pec. The side of my leg grazes his softening member as he draws me across him and kisses the top of my head.
“We should get married today,” he whispers.
What? “Today?”
“Yeah.” He chuckles low and sexy. “Big’s ordained. He’ll do it. He might hate doin’ it, but he’ll do it.”
“But why today? It’s not a rush.” We haven’t even been engaged for a week.
“I almost lost you yesterday.”
I trace a fingertip up and down the valley between his pecs. “I know. But you didn’t.”
“This is the third time I almost lost you. I don’t want to wait. I will, if you need me to, but I don’t want to. I want us to be us. We can figure out all the rest of the shit later. Together.”
I get that… but…
“I’m not going anywhere,” I reason.
“You don’t know that. I...”
To calm him down, I pat Josh’s chest. “It’s gonna be okay.” It will be. We’re gonna get through this. I’m not going anywhere.
“No, it’s fuckin’ not.”
Someone pounds on the bedroom door. “When you’re done fuckin’ your old lady, we got church. Maybe check your phone next time, asshole!” Viper hollers. “Ten minutes.”
Josh flips off the door. “Fuck off, Viper.”
“Ten minutes!” His brother delivers a final knock.
