“I haven’t told anyone,” she whispered. It pained her to admit it, but if she didn’t find her mates soon, she’d be another dragonstatistic.
“Well, I think your mates have found each other and are now looking for you.” Zora looked back down at thecrystalball.
Lini’s heart stuttered with the thought that her two mates were looking for her. She stretched her neck to see if she could see them in the ball, but to her, she saw nothing butclouds.
“Really?” her voice ended on a squeak. Tears welled up in her eyes at the realization that she was close. “What do they look like? Who are they? Wherearethey?”
Her string of questions were halted by the rise ofZora’shand.
“Tomorrow night, the dragon clan’s family will be hosting a celebration. Your mates will be there. All I can see is that the male is tall and strong, while the female is small, with brown skin and long hair. Go to that event, and you will connect with your mates.” Zora sat back from the table with a small smile onherlips.
“How much do I owe you?” Lini rushed out, reaching into her small purse. Excitement filled her. She had heard of the party and knew that all dragon shifters would beinvited.
“No charge, little dragon shifter. If I can help prevent one of your kind from falling into the curse, then I will consider that payment. Dragons have been long protectors ofmykind.”
Zora stood from the table as Lini flew from her chair andhuggedher.
“Thank you,” shewhispered.
Soon she would be united with hermates.
