It was my turn to admire the view, the smooth skin over those sleekly defined muscles. I pushed myself onto my elbows and watched him step in between my legs. He leaned over me, resting on his knuckles as he touched our heads together. He sighed as I reached down and positioned his cock where I needed him to be, then I pushed us together.
“I love you, Daisy.” He braced himself against the desk and curled his arms around me, lifting me up against him and letting me slide further over him. I felt every inch of him pressing inside me. He grunted softly as I came to a stop, hanging off his body by his cock. His hands gripped me under my bum cheeks and lifted me slowly, dragging me up, before letting me sink down again. I laced my arms around his neck and clung on, this slow dance seducing me even more.
“Sweet Mary, mother of Jesus. I’m in heaven,” I muttered.
“I’m right there with you.” Jim brushed his lips against my cheek and down my neck as he laid me back down on the desk.
The sensations were becoming too much. I was already sensitive, and the angle of Jim’s movements was building my orgasm up inside me. Each stroke took me higher, back into that bliss. I cried out as the explosion took me again, detonating like a line of explosives across my body. Jim swore. His body pounded into me, hard and deliberate, as he came with a bellow.
We lay there panting, waiting for reality to come crashing back down in us.
“If you weren’t already pregnant, Daiz, I think that would have done it,” Jim murmured in my ear. I chuckled softly in agreement, and held him against me.
A soft knock at the door brought reality in a bit quicker.
“Uncle Midwife?” a young voice wafted through the door. “Um, Uncle Horse says you’re taking too long and to hurry up.”
Jim growled softly beside my ear, then lifted his head. “Thank you, Trey. We’ll be right out,” he yelled politely, then looked down at me, his eyes still stormy with lust. “Fucking, Horse. I thought it was only kids that would try to cock-block us like this.”
I burst out laughing. “Horseisa kid,” I reminded him. Jim’s face softened at my reaction, before he pulled himself out and helped me sit up. He bent down to pick up my clothes and offered them to me before looking at the mess we’d made. His eyes sparkled with laughter.
“Looks like the prospect has a job to do.”
I laughed. I was glad I’d driven down. If I’d stayed in my apartment, I’d still be slowly spiraling. Now I knew. I was wanted, my baby was wanted, and we were both chosen by the man who loves us.

Chapter 64: Blaze
I sat in the bench seat, my head buzzing with confusion. Midwife and Daisy? Together? And having a baby? That wasn’t possible. We were still married. She wouldn’t step out on me. It was one thing for me to have some fun, but Matchstick would have had a fit if they’d had any idea that Daisy was screwing someone other than me. A woman stays inside the marriage, and a brother doesn’t touch what’s not his.
“I’ll fucking teach him a lesson,” I growled again, standing up.
“Sit the fuck down,” Bear snapped, watching me slowly comply. It wasn’t the first time he’d told me, and it wasn’t the first time I’d obeyed tonight. I sank back into the hard seat.
Horse hobbled his way over, giggling like a lunatic. Kids were hanging off him like monkeys, giggling just as much as he was.I was glad Dylan was with Shaquilla tonight. At least he wasn’t part of this circus.
I groaned, finally remembering my words to Daisy. You think it’s funny bringing an illegitimate child into our marriage?Shit, that’s exactly what I’d done. Only difference is, I was willing to give him up if Daiz said no. I dropped my head into my hands.
“What the fuck am I going to do, Bear?” I finally asked. “I don’t want to raise Midwife’s kid.”
Bear sneered at me. “Midwife is raising his own kid.” He took a swig of his beer as Horse gingerly slid into a seat, instead of flopping down like he usually did.
He grunted as he settled in, and then spoke breathlessly, “Didn’t Daisy say something about a divorce? Sounds like she prefers Midwife to you. At leasthekeeps it in his pants when she’s not looking.”
Bear glared at him, then shook his head. “Stay out of it, Horse,” he growled. “This is no laughing matter.”
“I’m not laughing. I’m pointing out the obvious. Daisy deserves someone who is as faithful to her, as he is to the club. If you hadn’t noticed, that’s Midwife, and she’s chosen to be his ol’lady.” Horse reached for my beer and grabbed it, taking a swig before Bear managed to grab it away from him.
“You’re still on painkillers. Stop this shit,” he told the young man.
Horse glared at him, then shrugged and turned his head to me. “What’s your problem anyway? She’s been gone for over four years without any contact. If it wasn’t for Matchstick dying, we’d probably still not know if she’s alive. She could have been shacked up with a guy years ago, and you wouldn’t have known.”
“She’smine,” I whined.
Horse was still uncharacteristically solemn. “No, she’s not, Blaze. She gave up on you,” he replied. This non-joker side of Horse was freaking me out, especially since his words soundedlike what Shaquilla has been saying. I growled wordlessly. Horse held up a hand, then popped up one finger.
“One, she left for four fucking years. Her home, her family, her husband.” He nodded towards me. “She didn’t even file for divorce so you couldn’t find her that way. Two, obviously you had no contact. She fucking left her phone behind. So she didn’t want you to contact her. She was done with you. She left you.”
