“Wait just a minute, Blair.” Ollie reaches for my arm and gently pulls me down on the couch next to her, my suitcase making a loud thud when it hits the wooden floor. “Tell me what happened to make you decide to go on a…sexcation.”
“The three guys from the Commissioner’s Ball only want me when it’s convenient for them, like I’m some secret booty callthey’re ashamed of in the daylight. When we’re around each other all day, they ignore me, but as soon as midnight hits, I get a text saying their driver is on his way to pick me up, like I’m some reverse Cinderella.”
I want to tell her the truth about how we had an arrangement that would change after three months, but today I received shocking news that changed everything. So instead, I cling to half-truths.
“I’m sorry, Blair. I had no idea that was happening. She wraps her arms around me, giving me a big hug. “Are you sure a sexcation is the best idea right now?”
“You know what they say, the best way to get over a guy is to get under or on top of or in front of other guys.”
“It will be okay.” She brushes her hand over my hair and lets me cry into her shoulder.
“I wish they’d just go back to Canada.” The words rip through my heart.
“Come on. Let’s get you into the shower. We’ll order some pizza and watch a horror movie to get your mind off those jerks. Will call it a horcation.”
“I don’t think that came out the way you wanted it.” I laugh at Ollie’s attempt to cheer me up.
I finally fell asleep after we shared a large pizza and started our horrorfest, not caring that I turned my phone off so I wouldn’tbe disappointed when I didn’t receive my nightly booty call from Brant, Charlie, and Remy, now that Jane was in town.

“How are you holdingup?” Ollie gives my shoulder a little squeeze. I slept through the night and most of the morning. She finally woke me up at noon so I could get ready for the game tonight. It’s an early one, starting at five.
“Good.” I offer a half-hearted smile while glancing at the owner's skybox. “Kepler is letting me use the company lake house for a few days. It’s only an hour’s drive. I plan to drive up after the game.” Ollie opens her mouth to argue, but I silence her with a shake of my head. “I’ll be fine. I need some time to myself to clear my head."
“Are you sure you should be alone right now?”
“I’m sure,” I say, never taking my eyes off the skybox. “I really thought they liked me.” I should have known better when I didn’t have any messages from them this morning about my missed booty call.
“Oh, Blair.” Ollie wraps her arms around me, holding me tight.
I let her hug me for a few more seconds before stepping out of her arms, “See, no tears. I’m fine, really.”
“Okay, but text me as soon as you get to the lake house. “
“Will do.” I nod, offering her a sad smile. “Now go out there and get to work. I hear you have a hot third date tonight.” Ollie told me all about her date with Ryker and Felix. I’m happy one of us has found love. “You know what a third date means, don’t you?” I yell after her as she makes her way to the ice. “Sex!” I yell, not caring who hears me.
I notice a couple of guys approaching Ollie. If I’m right, they are her ex-boyfriends. My first thought is to grab Felix and Ryker. I hate leaving my sister alone, but I need to grab some help.
Racing to the home locker room, I run into Felix and Ryker. “Hurry. Ollie needs your help. Her ex-boyfriends are causing problems.”
They follow me as we race back to where Ollie is still standing. “I grabbed some backup. I recognized Hudson and Kai from the picture on your phone, and I wasn’t sure how they were going to react to seeing you after all this time.”
Felix and Ryker push past me with their fists flying, not bothering to ask any questions.
“Enough!” Ollie yells, stepping toward the fight. Kai and Ryker are going at it while Felix and Hudson are going head-to-head. “Stop fighting now!” She uses her stern referee voice to end their brawl.
“Are you okay?” Felix reaches for Ollie, concern thick in his voice.
“Don’t touch her, asshole!” Hudson pushes Felix’s hand away before he can touch Ollie.
“I’m fine. But we need to clear the air before the game starts because I will not have the four of you fighting over me during the game and risking my job.”
When I think everything is under control, I hear Brant’s voice. “What’s going on over here? Did you do something to cause this, Little One?” Brant shifts his gaze to me.
“Me? How dare you!” Who do they think they are blaming me for this fight? I stomp off, leaving them to deal with the fallout. Or so I thought.
