He made a strangled noise that was half whimper and half cry.
Scoring her nails down to his perfect backside, she splayed her fingers and tugged him closer to her. ‘I want you to come.’
His expression was desperate now, as if hanging onto the edge of a cliff by his fingernails.
She guided his movements with her hips and her hands, encouraging him to take what he needed. Overwhelming emotion swelled inside her as she drowned in the intense blue of his eyes.
Then he thrust deep within her and it was as if lightning had struck her core. A sharp, brilliant bolt of pleasure that stole her breath. He snapped his hips again and a second crack of light shot through her.
A tiny part of her whispered that she couldn’t come again. But then she fell into the feelings, knowing there was nothing more real than the sensations whipping inside her and the love between her and Leo that saturated her body, mind and soul.
They breathed as one, Ella’s climax building with the inescapable power of a rocket preparing for launch. The earth-trembling roar of the engines as the fuel ignited. The pressure increasing until the point of no return.
His cock pumped quicker, stoking the fire within her until it was white hot. Her orgasm was hurtling towards her with unstoppable force, her limbs shaking, her breath frantic.
‘Leo!’ she gasped. ‘I’m going to c—’
And then it hit. A thundering blast that rocketed her into the heart of a star. She was pure light and never-ending pleasure. Every cell shattered with a blinding sensation as the release rolled through her.
She held onto Leo for dear life as he tumbled into his own climax, his body wracked with shudders and her name on his lips. Love stung her eyes. He was so much part of her, she could no more untangle his heart from hers than she could walk on water.
‘I love you. I love you,’ he gasped, his breath still heaving.
‘I love you too,’ she whispered as tears ran down the side of her face.
Leo turned his head and kissed the tears away. ‘Was it that bad?’ he managed.
Ella huffed out a short laugh. ‘Terrible. We’re going to have to practise more.’
She felt his smile against her cheek. ‘This task has just become more important than winning next year’s Christmas quiz.’
‘Wowsers. I didn’t think there was anything more important than that.’
Leo raised his head, his gaze so full of love that her heart skipped a beat. ‘Yes, there is,’ he replied. ‘You.’
Ella blinked rapidly, her jaw tight as she tried to stem her emotion.
‘My beautiful Ella.’ His fingers stroked her face. ‘I’m going to love you so much, you’re going to beg me to stop.’
She shook her head. ‘Never.’
‘Oh, Princess, you have no idea how insufferable I’m going to be. I’m going to moon after you in public like a lovesick puppy. I’m going to hold your hand during dinner and make sure you get the best bits of food. I’m going to serenade you under the moonlight and in the middle of Foxbrooke high street. I’m going to buy you so many flowers that evenDadwill say I’ve gone too far. I’m going to write poetry praising your beauty. I—’
‘Poetry?’
‘Yep. I’ll start small. Maybe with a haiku.’
She snorted.
‘Ella, my princess. I love you with my whole heart. So there, says Prince Leo.’ His face lit up. ‘I’m a genius!’
‘I’m impressed! There were even the right amount of syllables in each line.’
‘I’m a poetry prodigy.’ He cleared his throat. ‘There once was a princess named Ella, who knew Leo, a charming young fella. They starred in a show, and true feelings did show. And at Christmas, they fell for each other.’
Laughter tumbled out. ‘You’re the best.’
He grinned. ‘I’m the happiest. And the luckiest.’
