Snuggling back into the cradle of his body, Ella let the memories from the previous night wash through her, waking her up more effectively than a double espresso. Leo kissing her. Leo kissing hereverywhere. His body. His words. The orgasms that shattered her into a million points of light. The promise of even more to come.

As if sensing the quickening of her heartbeat, he stirred behind her. ‘Morning, Princess,’ he said, his voice gravelly and deep, rumbling into her back and sending vibrations of pleasure straight between her thighs.

‘Good morning, fair prince.’ She stretched, accidentally-on-purpose pushing her bottom back against his already hard cock.

He responded by kissing her neck and bringing his hand to her breast. ‘Good? It’s spectacular,’ he replied in between kisses. ‘Best morning of my life.’

Ella smiled, then gasped as he rubbed her nipple through her pyjama top. This was the best feeling in the world. Nothing could beat it.

Then Leo stilled. ‘What’s the time?’

The question was a bucket of iced water over the head. Panicking, Ella sat up and glanced at the bedside clock.

Five past eight. She should have been at school twenty minutes ago.

Leo sprang from the bed. ‘Get washed and dressed and I’ll see you outside the front door in ten.’

Ella stumbled to follow him. ‘Where are you going?’

‘Grabbing you some breakfast, then getting my car so I can drop you off.’ He snatched his t-shirt and trainers from the floor, then ran from the room.

Seven minutes later,Ella dashed out of the manor and leapt in Leo’s car. ‘Thank you so much,’ she said breathlessly as he drove off in a shower of gravel.

‘Anytime.’ He flashed her a grin. ‘The bag at your feet contains an all-you-can-eat breakfast roll, a pain au chocolat, a thermos of coffee, a bottle of the manor’s spring water, and a portion of leftover shepherd’s pie for lunch.’

‘That’s amazing.’

‘Oh, and an apple because you’re a teacher and I’m your pet.’

She giggled. ‘What kind of pet?’

‘A lion, of course.’

‘How could I forget?’ Ella glanced at her watch as Leo sped along Foxbrooke high street. ‘Aren’t you going to be late for work as well?’

‘It’s fine. They’re cool. I can make up the time at the end of the day.’

A couple of minutes later, Leo swung his car through the school gates and screeched to a halt.

Ella turned to say goodbye, suddenly hyper-aware that this was a moment when a girlfriend might kiss a boyfriend.

‘Don’t overthink it,’ Leo murmured, then cradled her jaw to bring her mouth to his. He brushed his lips over hers, making them tingle. ‘See you later?’

She nodded, getting out of the car on unsteady legs.

Leo gave her a salute, then drove off, leaving Ella feeling as if he’d taken half of her with him.

Libby: Morning! How did the trust exercises go? Do you feel more comfortable with Leo now? X

Ella: Great, thank you. I think things will be better now x

Libby: Wonderful! Are you up for another quick rehearsal tonight? Willow’s finished your transformation dress and I want to make sure it works alright, so I thought we could run through the scene before the ball with you and Dervla?

Ella: Yes! Of course. Straight after dinner?

Libby: Perfect! Thank you! X

Ella: No worries. See you later! x
