David slaps him on his chest. “That’s what I said.” He high-fives him.
Josh says, “Jag offs. Listen up. David, run and get rope from the barn. We’ll tie it to the front of Sam’s truck and to the bed.” They look over at us.
David grins. “You cool with tying stuff to the bed? I know that used to be on Tabi’s fuck-it list but has that skill tarnished? How are your knots these days?”
Sam laughs. “Seriously. You’re worried about knot tying when I’m here.” We all laugh. Sam loves a good Shibari knot.
Tabi shouts at him, “How are your knots these days, big guy?”
Sam bristles and shoots back, “Don’t you fucking worry about my skills.”
Sam put all of it in the past when his girlfriend ghosted him. But they were the perfect BDSM couple. It’s nice to hear a bit of the old Sam joke with us.
