‘Huh?’
‘I have to eat some breakfast, go to set.’
He blinked himself back into a world that rudely chose to exist outside of their bubble. ‘You’re incredible. You blow me away.’
She smiled at him, shining with happiness.
He would do anything to keep that smile in place. ‘I’ve had an idea.’
She raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow. ‘Another one? Don’t we have enough on our plate, Charlie?’
He kissed the end of her nose. ‘True, but we’re motoring through your list of teenage kicks. I think we’ll have ticked everything off in the next twenty-four hours.’
‘Really?’
He ran his fingers up and down her back. ‘This idea is about fundamentally altering the fabric of your cognitive universe.’
She giggled. ‘Those are big words.’
He pulled her closer to his cock. ‘It must be because they’re coming from my bigger brain.’
Her mouth dropped open and she blushed. ‘Charlie!’
He grinned. ‘So, wanna hear my cunning plan? It actually intersects with some of your teenage tasks.’
‘Does it involve getting naked?’
‘Yes!’ he said proudly. Her cheeks were now on fire. He tucked his fingers in the back pockets of her jeans, feeling the warmth from her skin. ‘So, Valentina. There exists in this room someone who does not fully comprehend the extent of their beauty and blindingly hot body. We all know that person is not me. Because…’ He shrugged and wiggled his eyebrows. ‘Well, it’s me.’
She giggled.
‘So, I have taken it upon myself, until we say goodbye, to dedicate my body to pleasuring yours until you know how truly mind-blowing you are.’
‘How selfless of you,’ she said, trying to hold back her smile.
Charlie raised his eyebrows. ‘I know, right? I’m like the Dalai Lama of sex.’
There was a pause.
He held his breath, waiting for her, his body tense.
‘Okay, Charlie.’
He felt his eyes bugging out. Was this for real?
She gave him a mischievous grin. ‘I hope you’ve got stamina.’
He made Valentina late. There was no time for sex, but once he started kissing her, it was impossible to stop. Eventually, when they heard a runner calling her name down the corridor, he opened the door to his room and pushed her through, promising to come find her later. Rory was out most of the day running errands for Zoe with Bandit, so he did a walk-through of the castle, went for a run, then worked out in the gym. It was late morning when he went to find her.
Passing by the front door to the castle, one of the twenty-four-hour security guards called to him.
‘Charlie?’
He stopped. Standing beside the thickset man was a courier, holding a package. ‘Hey Greg, what’s up?’
‘This chappie’s got a package for Ms Valverde, but he has to give it to her personally. Can you take him to her?’
‘Yeah, sure, no problem.’ He turned to the courier. ‘Follow me.’
