“Good morning, Princess,” he whispers next to my ear as his hand drifts under the hem of my shirt and up my stomach, between my breasts, then down again. I arch into his touch, and I feel him grin against my skin. “How do you feel after all that fun last night?”
“No hangover,” I whisper and turn into him, loving the way it feels when he wraps his arms around me and hugs me close, his lips pressed to the top of my head. “Thanks for coming to get me.”
“You should have called,” he whispers back, and I love the intimacy of this moment. “I don’t want youwalking around at night, drunk, by yourself. Never again, Alex.”
His firm voice leaves no room for argument. It makes me smile and press my thighs together.
I love it when Adam gets bossy.
“Okay. The fresh air was nice, though.”
I drag my leg across the sheets and then scowl.Ouch.
That’s right, I fell and scraped my knees. That will hurt for a few days.
“I didn’t like finding my girl with blood on her,” he says as he nudges me onto my back and kisses my cheek again. “Open your eyes for me, beautiful.”
I work on blinking them open, and when my eyes find his, I frown. He’s intense. His lazy touches and sweet kisses hide the turmoil going on in his mind.
“Hey.” I drag my fingers down his cheek and then cup the side of his neck. “I’m okay, Adam. I’m right here, safe in the bed.”
“Ourbed.” He nuzzles his nose against mine. “Say it.”
“Safe in our bed.” I smile up at him. I love that my men are fierce about reminding me that I belong with them. It makes me feel good, but it kind of scares me too.
Because what will happen if this all goes away?
“In my drunken state,” I begin and continue to touch him, dragging my hand up and down his arm, “I really thought that it would be easier to crash in town and come back here this morning. It wasn’t anything personal. I don’t want you to think that.”
He blows out a breath and drops his face to the crook of my neck, breathing me in.
“You scared me, Princess.”
“I’m sorry.” I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him to me, and then his hand starts to roam again, down my side to my ass. “Mmm, you feel good this morning. Where’s Gabe?”
“He had to go to work.”
I frown up at him when he pulls up to look at me. “What time is it?”
“After nine.”
“And why areyouhere? You have to work, too.”
He shakes his head and kisses the tip of my nose. “The best thing about being the boss is that I can work whenever the fuck I feel like it. Today, I want to be with you. First, I’m going to sink inside you and remind you where you belong, every fucking day of your beautiful life, and then I’m going to make you breakfast.”
I bite my lip, loving every word coming out of his mouth.
“Blueberry pancakes?”
“Of course.”
“Best day ever.” He covers my lips with his in a deep kiss, sweeping his tongue over mine, and I melt into him.
Adam can kiss like no one’s business.
And what I love most about it is, he takes his time with it. He’s never in a hurry. It’s like he’s savoring me. I notice he does the same with Gabe, too. He lavishes our mouths with the kind of attention that a lover should give.
My hand drifts down to his ass, and I grip him firmly as I circle my hips, pressing against his hard length, and Adam groans against my lips.
