White lights, mixed with blue sparkles, flash before my eyes. I’m not even sure if I’m breathing as wave after wave of pleasure wrecks me.

“Fuck, yes. Winnie. You’re mine. You’re fucking mine,” Colton roars as his body goes stiff, and I feel every spurt of his release. “I love you,” he murmurs when he collapses on top of me.

I’m in a daze. Or maybe I’m asleep. I’m definitely in a headspace I’ve never felt before. Colton whispers words of praise that I barely hear. That wasn’t an orgasm. That was a head-to-toe experience that took me to the brink of pain before pleasure worked its way into every crevice of my body.Holy shit. That’s what I’ve been missing out on?

“That’s what happens when you trust me, Win.”

My eyes fly open to find Colton watching me with a lazy smile. “I’ll trust you for the rest of my life, then.”

“Fuck yes you will.” He drops down for a chaste kiss. “You should probably pee or something. I guess we should have talked about that before now. Are you okay with everything?”

Am I? I scan my body to see every inch of me is flushed. My brain is slowly processing his words, but when I do, I smile. “Yeah, Colton. I’m more than okay.”

He smiles a smile I realize he reserves just for me, and my heart nearly explodes. I sit up so we’re face-to-face. He tilts his head, knowing I want to say something, but I don’t know how. He waits patiently, encouraging me with eyes that hold the key to my heart.

It takes a few tries, but I finally get the words out. “Colton? I-I love you.” As soon as they’re out, I know I’ve never felt anything truer.

He pounces and grasps the back of my neck, lowering me slowly to the bed with his forehead pressed to mine. “Nothing, and I mean nothing, has ever made me happier than those three little words.”

Without warning, he enters me easily and with languid, unhurried movements, he gives me my second orgasm of the night.

CHAPTER30

WINNIE

“Let me see it,” Lexi demands as we exit the car. She’s sitting on our front porch, waiting for us.

“Hello, Lexi. Good to see you, too, Lexi,” Colton teases. “You could have gone in, you know. How long have you been sitting here?”

Rolling her eyes dramatically, she walks down the steps. “Hello, Colton. Now let me see the ring. And I haven’t been here long, but I needed a breather. Easton is going overboard baby proofing the house. I had to leave before I threw something at him when I couldn’t get into the refrigerator. Then I got the text in the Town Cryer. It won’t be long before everyone and their mother shows up, so I wanted to welcome Winnie to the family before the crazy arrives.”

“Ah, what?” I ask, pausing with Wes half unbuckled.

“Colton texted Ash, who texted Easton, who texted the family chat. Then GG put out a wedding announcement in the Town Cryer,” Lexi explains, as if this is common knowledge.
