“We’ve all taken different paths to get here, but we all started in the same place. Our parents taught us about love and brotherhood before all else, and no one embodies that better than my brother, Colton.

“Sometimes, it feels like we’re losing our way, but Colton is the first one to call us on our shit. To bring us back together. To remind us who we are. I may have lost track of that for a bit, but my heart is always with you.

“Winnie, you did the impossible. You brought Peter home from Neverland, and I’ve never seen him happier. Thank you for loving him with your whole heart, for bringing him back down to earth when he needs it, and for being an incredible addition to our crazy, chaotic family.

“To Colton and Winnie. May you have happy hearts, healthy lives, and love that lasts a lifetime.”

A chorus of Colton and Winnies rings out, but Winnie and I are in a race to get to Ashton. Somehow, she beats me and manages an impressive tackle hug. I wrap them both in my arms.

“Thank you, Ash. I know that wasn’t easy.”

“Thank you for not giving up on me. I’m not right, Colt. Our family will always come first, but I have a lot of shit to work out. I’m sorry my actions hurt you in the past.”

“No need, Ash. We’re all good, and you will be, too. You just have to learn to let us in.”

He nods, gives Winnie another hug, and settles at a table in the corner.

“He seems sad,” Winnie observes.

“I think he’s exactly what he said he is. A little lost. He’ll find his way, though.”

“How can you be so sure?”

“Because if he doesn’t, we’ll draw him a map.”

It is the Westbrook way, after all.
