I moaned. His words sliced through me, provoking unexplored feelings bubbling under the surface.
“Sarah,” he gritted out, and I forced my eyes open. “That’s it, baby.”
My thighs burned from riding him, but his fingers digging into the flesh of my ass spurred me on. There was no way I could stop, not when Connor was giving his all. We both continued to make small adjustments, heightening the pleasure building between us.
Everything tensed as I reached the edge. “I need—I need?—”
As if reading my mind, Connor started to move wildly, pulling me down with each thrust.
“Connor! Like that!” I held on for dear life, spiraling until an intense release washed over me. Moaning loudly, I pulsed around him, my limbs going slack until my forehead fell to his shoulder.
Taking my trembling body as his cue, Connor finally let go and came with a deep, satisfied groan.
We sat panting for a moment, wrapped in each other’s warmth. The comfort his embrace brought me made no sense considering I’d only known him for about a month, but I was past questioning it. Burying my face in his neck, I breathed him in and thanked whatever cosmic power that brought us together.
Loosening my grip, I noticed eight half-moon marks in his skin. Placing a soft kiss on his shoulder, I gently lifted, making sure the condom stayed put.
“Well, that was something,” I said, flopping next to him on the couch.
He gave me a deep-dimpled smile, and my heart thumped even faster. It had been a while since I’d had sex, and I felt pretty damn good. It didn’t hurt that I was seriously into the guy.
Lying back, I threw an arm over my face, leaving me exposed. Only this time, I was too satisfied to care.
Lifting my leg off his lap, he stood, and I listened to his soft footsteps as he threw the condom away in the kitchen. “Do you need anything?”
“Nah,” I said with a yawn.
He reached over me for a blanket and situated us so we were cuddling and cozy. Kissing my hair, he sighed. “What a good first date.”
We shook with laughter until we started kissing, getting lost in each other all over again.
Connor McCormick was a very good first date.

Thank you for ordering me Chinese. We’ve been in meetings all day with terrible cafeteria food.
Of course. Got to keep my girl fed.
“Video games and beer. What more could you ask for?” Jamie asked.
“I know what Connor would ask for.” Tom hopped over the back of the couch and picked up the controller I’d tossed after losing yet another match of Smash Bros.
“Oh yeah. He’s in loooove,” Grant sang. He’d been dropping the L word a lot since he arrived, and I wasn’t a fan.
“You’d better stop making fun of him before he kicks us out to run over to Sarah’s.” Tom grinned at me, knowing I hated every minute of this bullshit.
“She’s busy tonight. That’s why we’re here,” Jamie said, and I glared at him, but he just shrugged.
Sometimes I hated the fact that he and Sarah were such good friends.
“What?” He smirked at me, then turned his body to cut me out of their little conversation. “All the sorority officers are in mandatory meetings about rush. The school is instituting new procedures to try to keep the sororities safe.”
