“Hey, give me a minute to catch up,” I add. “Jensen’s been… opening my eyes. I mean, my ex before him was seriously vanilla. Like, wouldn’t even go down on me. Meanwhile, Jensen wants to set up camp down there.”

“Oh my God. Stop. I don’t want to picture my brother like that.” Megan groans, covering her face.

I lift my brows, smirking. “He’sreallygood at it too!”

“Nope. Don’t want to know,” Megan shakes her head furiously, eyes squeezed shut.

My phone buzzes again in my lap.

Jensen

I can’t wait for you to sit on my face tonight.

I giggle as the text comes through at just the right time.

“Speaking of setting up camp…” I hold up my phone so they can see.

Megan groans, dropping her head back. “Ugh. You guys are still so cute. Where’smytext?” She picks up her phone, scrolling, then scoffs. “Oh yeah, my husband forgot how to flirt when we had kids.”

She sighs. “I swear, I hope they’re out getting drunk because Kev needs to loosen the hell up...livea little. He’s been so busy with work, stressed to the max, and then he comes home with a stick up his ass. But if he’s buzzed, I know he’ll go down on me tonight. He can’t not when he’s tipsy.”

Amber and I both laugh.

“Excuse me, Kev needs to relax? Hello, I’m married to the king of structure and responsibility.” Amber lifts her glass and drains what’s left. “I’d kill for Jeff to actually let loose. Sure, he’ll have a drink or two,but never enough to really relax. Never enough to just let go and be free.”

They both turn to me, expectantly.

“What?” I ask, innocently.

“Come on, you can’t bitch aboutonething with Jensen?” Megan says. “I know you haven’t been together for years, but Jesus, you’ve lived together for what, like a year and a half now?” She raises a brow. “Do you guys even argue? It’s like you’re fucking perfect. Probably still have sex every day too.” She rolls her eyes and takes another sip of wine.

“Honestly? We don’t really argue,” I say with a shrug. “A few disagreements here and there, but Jensen’s easy to get along with. He’s good at balancing work and life. He makes time for me, plays basketball to unwind, goes on runs.” I reach for more popcorn. “I don’t know… we just make a really great team, you know?”

“Yeah, weknow,” Megan mutters, though she’s smiling. “And we’re jealous as hell.”

Amber shoots Megan a playful look. “Give it time, Meg. They won’t be perfect forever.” She flashes me a teasing grin.

“Stop… You both have great relationships. You’re just in a different phase of life than us. I mean, youdohave kids, for one.”

Megan laughs. “We know. We’re just giving you shit.”

“More like living vicariously through you.” Amber says, then turns to me. “Okay, serious question, though. How often do you two have sex?” She leans in close to Megan. “Do you remember whenweused to have a lot of sex? Before kids came along and murdered our drive?”

“Yes,” Megan groans dramatically, before shifting her gaze back to me. “No, but really. I can’t believe I haven’t asked you this before… probably because I don’t want to know about my brother’s sex life—but also, I kinda do.” She grins. “So? How often? And don’t lie. I know Jensen doesn’t need to be drunk to go down on you.” Her eyes widen. “Wow, that sounded pathetic out loud.”

They both stare me down, waiting.

“I don’t know. It depends on the week,” I say with a shrug. “Just kind of varies with life and work and what’s going on.”

Megan immediately shakes her head. “Nope. Not good enough. We need numbers, Al.Details. Weneedthis.”

I sigh, my cheeks warming. “Fine. I don’t know… probably four or five times a week?”

Megan’s brows shoot up, and Amber’s eyes go big as they exchange a look. “That’s like… almost every day.”

“I know,” Megan says, glancing back at me. “Okay, but how often does he go down on you?”

I laugh, covering my face for a second. “I don’t know… when he feels like it. Which is a lot.”
