“Yes, yes, of course I’ll marry you. You were already stuck with me for eternity.” I laugh as he presses his lips against mine slowly, our tongues circle around one another. My heart feels like it’s going to burst out of my chest with happiness. He pulls away and takes the ring out of the box, sliding it onto my finger, kissing the marquise-shaped diamond.
“For eternity. Just me and you,” he says.
“For eternity. Always.”

In the Blink of an Eye…
Driving home, I have nothing but a smile on my face. We spent a few more hours at Delirium, making sure my fiance was a shivering mess on that bed. I could fuck her all day and night and never tire of her, but I know that isn’t realistic. I lost count of the amount of times I filled her up.Always hoping by some miracle the doctors were wrong, and I’d get her pregnant. Fuck!I need to focus on the road and not think about her walking around the mansion with a big belly, carrying my child. My dick is already hardening at the thought and my nuts ache with the amount of times they emptied tonight.Shit.
I’m still shocked I was able to finally get tickets. Delirium isn’t just a carnival, it's a night of undeniable pleasure, and once you enter that tent, it's like a completely different world on the inside. The clown stamp that still sits smudged on the top of our hands are to gain entrance inside that tent. Only fifty peoplemay enter each night. The shot had us so preoccupied with one another that we missed the main event.
Besides unleashing our darkest desires in front of others, women are auctioned off to the highest bidder for the night to be used and abused. That’s not what or why we were interested in that place. There are depraved things that happened there, and both Savannah and I are not okay with it. I can’t even speak it into existence because it makes me irate.
After making her cum until she couldn't breathe, we walked around and watched others fulfill their needs and wants. We didn't stay for the entire show because it triggered Sav severely.
Turning to look at my girl, leaning against the window, I see something crawling out of my peripherals.
“Sav, don’t move, there’s a spider crawling up your leg,” I tell her as I reach over to kill it, but she slaps my hand away, picking up the spider and placing it in her hand.
“What the fuck?” I yell, and she giggles.
“Leave him be,” she tells me, and I look over at her like she damn near lost her mind.
“Throw it out the window, just get it out of the car,” I say frantically.
“I am not throwing him out of the window, but I will keep him away from you,” she tells me, but as I continue to drive us home, I keep an eye on him because I do not like spiders at all. The minute they crawl, I freak the fuck out.
Hours later, I’m driving down Lull Lane, noticing all the perfectly manicured landscape and how much all the houses look the same except for ours. Our mansion in the cul-de-sac is overgrown with weeds and roses on vines crawling up our fence and house. Sav likes it like this. She says the way the property looks matches her soul, and being that those pricks all live in the same houses they grew up in, it's a reminder to them what they got away with, so our little HOA who leaves us letters to clean up our yard can suck my dick. We know it’s Miss Nancy placing those complaints, and with every letter gone unanswered, is a pile of shit left at my gates. As we pull up to the gate, my eyes narrow as Sav leans closer to the windshield.
“What the fuck? Did you forget to close the gate when we left?” she growls as my brows narrow.
“I always shut it when I leave,” I reply as we pull through the gates and round the fountain, parking right in front of the steps. Turning off the car, she climbs out first and I follow right behind her. She opens the front door, turning on the lights with a gasp. I step in behind her, shutting the door. My eyes widen at the scene. Bookcases turned over, slices through the couches, glass shattered along the wood floor. Then I hear a commotion coming from right above us. She looks at me with a smirk and I kill the lights.
“Let’s hunt, baby.” I grin as she nods, picking up a shard of glass. I walk over to the side table, sliding the drawer open slowly and grabbing my dagger. She slides off her shoes and tiptoes up the stairs while I follow behind her.She still has that god damn spider who sits on the top of her head. I can see its glowing eyes between her dark strands taunting me. She makes it to the top of the stairs first while I’m on the landing as the sound of glass breaking echoes down the hall.
“Savannah, wait,” I whisper-yell as she darts down the hallway, out of sight. I grit my teeth and curse, taking a step, but the cold metal of a gun pressed against the back of my head has me stopping in my tracks. The lights cut on, flooding my vision, and I blink a few times, trying to focus. Spinning, I come face to face with Jeremy as he presses the barrel against my forehead.
“Drop the knife, Tripp. Now! Or I’ll blow your fucking head off,” he fumes, and I drop the dagger, letting it bounce down the stairs.
“I told you to stay away. I made it clear that attacking any of us would result in severe consequences for you and Savannah,” he snarls. I swallow thickly, not knowing how to react with a gun pressed against my head by someone who is fucking unstable.
“We stayed away. It’s been two years. Get the fuck out of my house,” I order, and he laughs.
“Why are you lying? You killed Larry. I know it was you. Where did you hide his body?”
“I don’t know what you are talking about,” I tell him, but he presses the gun harder against my head, making me wince.
“Stop lying. Where is Savannah? I’ve got words for her. How dare she walk into my home this morning and threaten my wife?” he spits. His eyes are wild, like he’s speeding on something heavier than the coke he did in high school.
“She’s not here,” I lie, and he cocks the pistol. My heart beats erratically in my chest as I hold my breath, not knowing what is going to happen next.
“Bullshit, I saw her,” he yells as his eyes leave mine and looks behind me.Fuck!
“Thought she wasn't here, aye,” he growls as I hear her walking down the steps. The smell of blood pungent in the air mixed with her scent.
“What do you want, Jeremy? Haven't you taken enough from me?” she snarls.
