And that was why, even after they both had long-since finished their orgasms, he didn’t want to let her go.

It was Grace who pulled away. She had obligations and so did he. But Tommy, being Tommy, was still enlarged inside of her. He could have, remarkably, gone another round. She had to physically take her hand and ease his huge penis out of her.

After she did so, they looked at each other and she smiled that bright white smile he could never get enough of. And he kissed her with a long, lingering kiss. But she still wouldn’t be deterred. She got off of him and out of bed. She was a stickler for taking care of your obligations when sometimes he said to hell with it. But that was another reason why he loved her so.

“What you have going on today?” he asked her as she stood at the lingerie drawer pulling out the panties and bra she planned to wear that day.

“I’ve got to take GG to Nira’s birthday party, and then I’m driving TJ over to Redmond. He has to be there at ten this time.”

“When the game doesn’t start until three?” asked Tommy. “They usually don’t have to be there until noon.”

“I know. But they lost last week. Coach isn’t taking any chances I guess,” said Grace. “Then I have a meet and greet at the church for our new pastor.” Then she looked at Tommy. He looked so sexy in that bed she wanted to get back on top of him. “I was hoping you could come with me.”

“I have a couple meetings across town. I’ll see him in church tomorrow.”

Grace considered him. She could tell when something was on his mind. “You’re still thinking about that contract, aren’t you?”

He nodded. “I am, yes. If we can’t get her to sign on, we can kiss that dream goodbye.”

“What’s Reno saying about it? He thinks she’ll do it?”

“He says maybe,” said Tommy, “which is the best we can hope for.”

“That’s not much.”

Tommy nodded. “Agreed. But we’re talking a billion-dollar investment, and even more than that on our end.”

“But Uncle Mick could put that in himself if it’s the kind of sure thing you and Reno says it is.”

“It’s not the money,” said Tommy. “It’s the fact that the EU has stipulated that in order for us to operate such a widescale corporation in Europe, we would have to have a current-resident European investor with at least a twenty-five percent market share. Given our valuation margins, a twenty-five percent share would mean about a billion dollars that the European investor will have to come up with. There’s not that many Europeans looking to put up nowhere near that much capital in what will be an American-owned company. She’s it.”

Grace exhaled. “So all of your eggs are in her basket?”

“Unfortunately yes.”

“But didn’t you say she was Norwegian?”

“She is.”

“Then why are you meeting her in British Columbia?”

“She’s at her vacation home there. Since we can fly over to her in a couple hours or less, we agreed to meet her there.”

“I don’t understand how Europeans can come to America all the time and start businesses and it’s no big deal, but we have to have a European as an investor for an American company to do it. Everybody crap on us. Trump ain’t wrong about that.”

“But he’s wrong about everything else,” said Tommy.

“Yes he is,” agreed Grace with a laugh. “And I meaneverythingelse. But not about that.”

“But what they’re asking us to do isn’t the standard in Europe,” Tommy said. “It’s the size and scale of our corporation that made them institute these requirements for us. It’s a different standard they’re placing on us.”

Grace looked at him again. “Do you think you and Reno’s mob ties had something to do with these different standards?”

Tommy exhaled. “Probably,” he admitted. “But anyway,” he said, tired of talking about it. “That’s the way it is. We’re meet with her on Monday and see what’s what after that.” Then he looked at her as she closed her lingerie drawer. “Heard from Destiny and the baby?”

“She called late last night. She said they plan on staying a few days longer. She’s enjoying herself. Danny is too.”

“Is she still seeing Alonzo?”
