Morgan’s chest burned with equal parts rage and desire, powerless to stop the inferno building between them.
But then the heat slammed back into her like a wave, tearing her resolve apart. Her body trembled, aching, every nerve screaming for release.
The ring on her finger seared hot, almost unbearable. She gasped, looking down-only to feel a phantom caress over it, as though Ashmedai himself were stroking her through the bond. The touch slid away, down her skin, leaving gooseflesh in its wake.
“Please…” she whispered, though she wasn’t sure who she was speaking to.
Ashmedai rose up inside Morgan’s frame, horns glowing with embers, golden eyes molten. “Say the word, flame-haired goddess. Do you give me leave?”
For a moment, Síofra’s world steadied. She looked at him-at them both-and the last of her hesitation melted. Her lips parted and she nodded once, her voice barely audible. “Yes.”
Morgan’s howl of protest echoed faintly inside the shadows, but Ashmedai only laughed, triumphant. He lowered himself over her, smooth obsidian skin radiating heat far hotter than human flesh. Her fingers trembled as she learned his body , fascinated despite herself-his unusual features, ears tipped in a pointed helix, every tooth gleaming like a predator’s.
His horns curved back from his skull, embers glowing faintly in their grooves, lighting his face with a dangerous beauty.
She whimpered, overwhelmed by his size, his heat, his sheer presence. “I can’t-”
“You can,” Ash purred, his voice sliding through her mind like velvet and smoke. His claws pressed against her chest-not to harm, but to hold her steady. “You are mine. Take all of me.”
She gasped as the bulbous head of his cock pressed insistently against her opening. He was larger in girth than Morgan withoutthe knot at the base.Relentlessly he filled her, deeper, hotter, stretching her until she thought she might break. But the burn turned to a shuddering rush of pleasure, and her cry rang sharp through the cavern.
Ashmedai’s grin widened. “Yes… that’s it. Take the last of me, goddess. Every inch. You were made for this.”
Her hands shot up, gripping his horns, pulling him down to her as the heat consumed her whole. His eyes rolled back.
Ashmedai’s laughter rolled through the cavern, deep and jagged, even as Síofra clung to his horns, trembling under his merciless attention. Her body betrayed her with every cry, her hips shifting, chasing pleasure she couldn’t deny.
Inside, Morgan was raging even as his spine tingled with pleasure.Stop this! She’s mine, not yours. Don’t you dare take her from me!
Ashmedai’s golden eyes flared, and for a moment Morgan swore the demon was looking directly into the prison of his mind. “Yours?” Ashmedai purred aloud, his voice vibrating through Síofra’s skin. “You are nothing but my shell. She cries forme.”
Síofra whimpered, her body strung tight as a bowstring. Her thoughts frayed in the firestorm of sensation-wrong, yes, but gods, it felt so right.
Then Ashmedai drew back, rising over her, smoke curling from his form. His horns gleamed with ember-light, his claws holding her in place. “You see, goddess?” he said, voice smoother now, more coherent. “You were born for this,my queen. My match. Watch how I pleasure youAccept me, and I will give you more than pleasure. I will give you kingdoms. Eternity.”
Morgan thrashed against the walls of his own mind, furious.Don’t listen to him, Síofra! He’ll twist you, use you until there’s nothing left. Please-look at me, not him.
Ashmedai bent low, his forked tongue flicking against her ear as he whispered, “Choose me, and I will not stop here. I will claim you fully. You will never want for anything again.”
Síofra’s chest heaved, her nails biting into the curve of his horns as her gaze darted between those molten eyes and the blue ones she knew still lived beneath. Her heart hammered, torn between the burning ache of her body and the terrifying pull of the abyss staring back at her. Her climax burst through her like a firestorm as he plunged into her repeatedly.. She was barely aware as Ashmedai groaned above her and pulses of his release scorched her from the inside. She was lost in bliss as he bent down and took a nipple into his mouth. A sharp pain had her looking down to see he had left his mark there. His molten eyes met hers as black dots swam to swallow her vision.
The last thing she heard before she slipped into the abyss was,“You are mine now.”
Chapter 12
When Síofra was aware again, the haze of the heat had lifted. Her breath came easier, her skin felt cooler. Relief washed through her-until she realized she was no longer in the cave.
Dust swirled in spirals around her feet, the same arid landscape she had glimpsed once before. But this time she stoodinsidea fortress built of red stone, its massive walls rising jagged against a starless sky. The air hummed with a presence too vast to be of earth.
Behind her, Morgan stirred, his arms still around her. His voice was shaken. “Where the hell are we?”
Before she could answer, his body convulsed. Smoke peeled away, shadows splitting. Ashmedai stepped out from him, fully formed. He inhaled deeply, golden eyes blazing as he looked around, drinking in every stone.
And then-movement.
From the shadows of the courtyard came soldiers. Demons armored in jagged steel, horns curling like lightning. Their eyesgleamed as they advanced-until one, taller than the rest, caught sight of them.
He froze. His green eyes widened and with sudden, violent grace, he dropped to his knees, sword clattering to the dust. His head bowed low.
