I swirled a slow circle around and around, alternating between licks and sucks. He grunted his pleasure with every flick of my tongue. His thighs trembled and his hips bucked slightly, and I knew it was taking everything he had in him not to jerk forward and bury himself inside my mouth.

I decided to give him exactly what he wanted. I lowered myself, letting my lips slide down his shaft, taking him as deep as I could until I felt his cock twitch and pulse in my mouth. I swirled my tongue around the head and sucked hard. He groaned loudly and found his pleasure as I worked him through it, savoring the taste that was purely Grant.

His length deflated, growing less stiff but not quite getting soft. I gave him one last lick before he pulled me to my feet and kissed the life out of me. He didn't seem to care that he was tasting himself.

We clung to each other, enjoying sweet kisses until the water turned from hot, to lukewarm, to barely room temperature.

Grant shivered and pulled back.

“That’s too cold, even for me,” he said.

“You don’t want a round two?” I teased.

His eyes flashed with heat, but it faded into a mere simmer.

“I’d love to have another go,” he said. “But we really will be late if we don’t get going.”

I faked a pout and Grant laughed.

“Don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of time for more shower sex.” He planted a kiss on my pursed lips. “Because I plan on waking up next to you every morning for a long, long time.”

My palm was damp as it pressed into Grant's. My fingers weren't the only cold and clammy ones. From the tight grip he had on my hand I knew he was as nervous as I was.

This afternoon we were back at work, same as always. Except this time nothing was the same. Grant and I were together now. A couple.

Grant and I had both decided we wouldn't say anything to Mason or Evan about our new relationship. Not yet. We wanted to prove we could still be professional around each other. If we were able to keep a proper distance for the next few days we could show them that being together wouldn't change things too much.

Neither of us knew how Mason would react to this news.

"Are you sure you're okay with not telling them?" I asked Grant one last time. "I know you probably don't like the idea of keeping secrets from our boss."

"It's only for a few days," Grant said. "Just until we can show them everything is fine. We've all heard horror stories of coworkers getting into relationships. If we prove to them we can act normal around each other there won't be any reason for them to worry when we finally do tell them."

I slipped my hand from Grant's and moved a few steps away, putting an appropriate amount of personal space in between us. Grant pushed open the door to the bar and let me walk through first. I brushed my hair back from my shoulders and walked in with what I hoped was a cheerful smile and not a wavering one.

Grant followed behind me, shutting the front door closed softly. Mason was behind the bar counter twirling a pen between his fingers and frowning down at a notebook.

"Hey Mason," I said, keeping my smile plastered firmly on my face and trying not to let my voice go high-pitched and suspicious. "Working hard?"

Mason looked up. The frown on his face immediately faded when he saw me and Grant standing in the doorway. A slow smile crossed his face.

"Fucking finally," he said, the corners of his lips going wide from ear to ear.

Grant and I gave each other side-eyed glances.

"What are you talking about?" Grant asked, a hint of nervousness in his voice.

Surely we weren't so obvious that simply standing next to each other gave us away?

Mason clapped slowly and let out a long, low whistle of approval.

"I'd wondered how long it would take you guys to finally get together," he said. "The sexual tension between you two has been so thick I could cut it with a knife."

It was a clichéd phrase but no doubt accurately described the last few months working side-by-side with us.

I gave Grant a helpless sort of shrug. A sheepish look crossed his face as he ran his hand through the short hair at the back of his head. I hadn't expected anyone to guess this fast, but in the back of my mind I had been wondering if we would be able to keep things a secret after all.
