"You came back for the dog?" Jared glanced at Drizzit, who'd jumped off the bed and now sat in a corner of the room, watching them.
"Yes, the dog." But Silas smiled as he said that, letting Jared know it wasn't the whole truth.
"Good choice." Jared moved his hand a little lower to fondle Silas's balls. Already, they were drawing tight. What would it take to make Silas come? Probably not much. Jared couldn't wait to see what his face would look like when he did. Couldn't wait to hear what sounds he'd make.
Silas drew in a breath, his whole body tense. His eyes screwed shut as Jared's fingers found his cock again, stroking lightly. His teeth poked out, and then he bit his lower lip, as if he were fighting with himself, or struggling against an invisible force.
Jared knew what it was. The ghost of a dead vampire haunting him. His heart ached for Silas. Hadn't he suffered enough? Jared wished that Silas could just let go and enjoy himself the way he deserved.
But how to make that happen?
"What exactly were your orders?" he asked.
Silas blinked his eyes open, focusing them on Jared. "My orders?"
"The ones you're hearing in your head right now.”
Silas cast his glance aside, but then his gaze found Jared again. "Not to let anyone touch me..."
"And you're not 'letting me' because I overpowered you?" Jared squeezed his hand around Silas'.
"That's what I'm telling myself."
"What if I wasn't the one touching you but the other way around?" If there was a loophole here, Jared wasn't above exploiting it. Anything would be better than to watch Silas struggle while Jared was trying to pleasure him.
For a long moment, Silas didn't say anything. Apparently, this wasn't something he'd ever considered. "I don't know," he admitted in the end.
"Your sire never said anything about that?"
"Not as far as I can remember." Silas regarded Jared carefully, the faintest glimmer of hope lighting up his eyes. "You would let me?"
In response, Jared removed his hands from Silas and moved to lie on his back, next to the vampire. "Do whatever you want."
