The kiss was unexpected, and I softly moaned against his lips. His hard cock glided in and out, stroking all of my sensitive places, while his tongue laced with mine. He rocked into me hard, yet the kiss remained tender. Intimate.

I slid my hands up his biceps and locked them behind his neck, our mouths melding together with an endless kiss. My heart knocked in my chest a little harder. It ached some too, though I had no idea why.

“Harder,” I murmured, pulling from the kiss but keeping our lips touching. I lifted a hand to his hair and played with the strands. They were just long enough to get a nice handful.

Paxton propped up my ass a bit more and held my weight as he dove in harder. He hit me at a new angle, and the cry that tore from my lips was automatic.

“Dear fucking god,” I said, panting. “That… that feels… more, Paxton. Don’t stop.”

He locked his hips in place and hit my sweet spot over and over. I could tell he was trying to hold back his moans, but a few escaped anyway. Each one felt like a small victory.

I didn’t try to hold mine back. I let them loose without a care in the world. Every guest in Redwood—hell, even the ghosts—could hear me, and I wouldn’t give a fuck. My orgasm hit me likea ton of bricks, slamming into me with such force I damn near screamed. Maybe I did scream a little. Pretty sure I blacked out for a moment.

All I knew, all I felt, was the intense pleasure Paxton gave me.

“Skyler…” He dropped his face to my neck and shuddered as he lost his rhythm. “I’m…”

“Come.” I moved my hands to his ass and lifted my hips. I kept him in place while I fucked upward, riding his shaft in reverse.

“Shit,” he hissed as his hips jerked. He grunted as he came, the sound rough.

Paxton slumped forward and slid both arms under my back, pushing his face into the crook of my neck.

Our harsh breaths filled the room as we rode the high of orgasm and basked in that sweet afterglow. An afterglow that was normally short-lived for me. Not long after hitting the big O, I usually got out of bed, dressed, and left. Or if the person was in my room, I’d tell them they could use the bathroom to wash up before leaving. Basically, telling them to leave without coming right out and saying it. But with Paxton, I found myself sliding my arms around him too.

I didn’t want him to leave.

“I’m glad your brother didn’t walk in on us,” Paxton murmured against my neck, his breath tickling my skin. “That’s one mortifying situation I’d rather not relive every single night for the rest of my life.”

I snorted a laugh. “I sent him an eggplant emoji, so he knows not to barge in.”

He lifted his head. “An eggplant emoji?”

“Yep. And when I’m done, I send the squirting water one.”

“Why the water…” Paxton pressed his lips together. “Ah. I get it. A signal that you’re, um, done?”

“Bingo.” I glided my fingertips to the edge of his brow. His messy hair and flushed face made him look too fucking endearing. He leaned into my touch, and that weird ache in my chest returned. “I’m not ready to send the water one yet.”

“Did I not satisfy the insatiable Skyler Knox?” he asked. His expression told me the question was meant as a playful jab, but the shake in his voice said something else. That he was worried he sucked in bed or something.

“Oh, I’m satisfied.” I waggled my eyebrows. “You fucked me so good my toes curled. Total ten out of ten, one hundred percent recommended.”

Paxton’s face broke into a smile. Good. I didn’t want him doubting himself.

“I just meant I’m not done with you,” I added. “I’m not done with… this.”

“This?”

“Holding you.” I lifted my head to meet him for a light kiss. “Kissing you. Making you blush.”

“I’m not blushing.” Paxton bumped our noses together before laying his head on my shoulder. “It’s too dark for you to see that anyway.”

I cupped the back of his head and played with his hair, combing my fingers through the strands. He seemed to like it when I did. He slowly exhaled and nuzzled me, his body relaxing.

“You asked earlier what this meant between us.”

“I shouldn’t have,” he said, tensing again. “I get in my head sometimes. Overthink everything. This doesn’t have to be anything more than what it is. Just two people having fun.”
