“Kiss me. Duh.” I squeezed his hand before releasing it and pulling my key from my back pocket to unlock the door. “Come in for a minute.”
Daniel stepped inside and closed the door as I took off my coat and hung it up in the hall closet. I couldn’t stop smiling. That had been the best date I’d ever been on.
And the night isn’t over.
“Can I get you a drink?” I asked, kicking off my boots and setting them beside the front door. “Sorry. When I come home, I start stripping. Clothes are too restricting.”
“You’d walk around naked if you could, wouldn’t you?” Daniel followed me into the kitchen.
“Just not in fast-food restaurants,” I said, making him laugh. I grabbed an unopened bottle of wine from the fridge and set it on the counter. I drank warm wine sometimes but preferred it chilled.
“I should probably go.”
I turned to him after getting down two glasses from the cabinet. “Oh. I thought you might want to stay for a bit…”
My meaning was pretty obvious. I had been wined and dined. Now I wanted to get good and boned.
“We both have an early morning.” Daniel closed the distance between us and slid his hand along the side of my neck. Did he feel my pulse quicken? His blue eyes darkened a little as they fell to my lips.
“Yeah. Early morning.” I swallowed hard and tried to force my body to calm. I was burning up. His warm body right up against mine didn’t help with that. “If you stayed, we’d never go to sleep. We’d just stay up playing Twister or something.”
“Twister?” Daniel’s cheek twitched with the smile he fought.
I put my hand on his chest. “Right hand on green.”
“And the left hand?” he asked in a slightly husky tone, his gaze on my mouth.
I grinned. “On blue.”
“Where’s that?”
I slid my hand down his chest and to his crotch before gently gripping his cock. Christ, he was already hard. And getting even harder.
“Reed,” Daniel said, his breaths rough. “I said tonight wasn’t about sex. I don’t want you to think that’s all I want.”
“You’ve already shown me that.” I rubbed the length of his shaft through the material of his pants, loving how he sucked in a soft breath when I reached the tip. “I want you so much right now. My ass is already aching at the thought of you inside me.” I then took a step back and dramatically sighed. “But if you don’t want to fuck me, I guess I’ll—”
Daniel gripped my nape and slammed his mouth to mine.
I groaned and returned the kiss before guiding him backward. We made it a few steps before he shoved me against the wall and dipped his tongue into my mouth, his fingers curling in my hair. I then pushed him back and yanked him with me into the living room. We bumped into the couch, and then the side table, before reaching the hallway.
“Too many clothes,” I mumbled against his lips as I tugged at his coat.
He took it off and tossed it aside before grabbing my face with both hands and kissing me again. More clothes were shed as we moved down the long hall. By the time we made it to my bedroom, I was stripped down to just my skinny jeans, but they were unbuttoned and showing my silky blue boxers underneath. Daniel’s button-up shirt hung open, revealing his tight abs and a toned chest I couldn’t wait to lick.
“On the bed,” I said, pushing against his shoulders.
He bounced a bit as he hit the mattress and flashed me a toothy, exhilarated smile. My heart skidded to a stop before restarting. I’d very rarely seen him smile with his teeth, and it was a damn beautiful sight.
“Are we going to play Twister now?” he asked, bringing an arm up to rest behind his head. The action emphasized the V-muscle of his stomach, and my mouth fucking watered.
“There’s something else you don’t know about me,” I said, peeling the rest of his shirt off him before tugging down his pants, leaving him gorgeously naked.
“And what is that?” he asked with a humored gleam in his pretty blue eyes.
“My dad used to make me watch westerns sometimes when I was little,” I said, pulling my jeans down and stepping out of them. “He’d shoot up and pass out in the recliner, leaving me with the remote. But after a while, I found out I kinda liked those westerns. And for about a month of my childhood, I wanted to be a cowboy.”
“A cowboy, huh?”
