I inwardly smiled and ate my lunch.

Later that night, Quinn came over and fucked my brains out. Again. And just like the night before, he left immediately after. I hadn’t even fully caught my breath before he was getting dressed and walking out the door. After quickly washing off in the shower, I got back into bed and grabbed my phone, scrolling through my social media.

Zane had posted pictures of him, Courtney, and Anton. The three of them looked happy. I hoped Courtney had forgiven him. It would be a shame to lose his family because of one stupid mistake.

Tyler posted a sweet picture of him and Neil at the dock. The water sparkled behind them as they kissed.

Wes had friend requested me a month ago, and he posted photos of his three daughters and a tree house he’d built for them.

They all had families. Love.

And there I was alone, lying on wrinkled sheets after having my ass drilled by a man I wished would stay longer than a minute after blowing his load.

Just as I was about to put my phone away, a message came through.

Quinn:Had fun tonight. Want to meet again tomorrow after the game?

The frequency with which he wanted to fuck me was a good sign. It’s like he couldn’t get enough of me, just like I couldn’t with him.

Me:I’ll have to stay at the school until all the guys leave afterward, so it might be a little late by the time I get home. Is that still cool?

Quinn:Yeah. Just let me know when to head over.

Me:Will do.

I set my phone on the nightstand and closed my eyes. Sleep was out of my reach, though. Too much shit was on my mind. Ireallyliked Quinn. Probably more than I should have. I tossed and turned for hours before finally falling asleep around 3:00 a.m.

At the ringing of my alarm at six, I got up, dressed in a nice pair of slacks, a button-up shirt, and a tie since it was game day, then got in my truck and drove to the school. Quinn had just parked when I arrived. He got out of his Kia at the same time I hopped out of my truck.

“Mornin’, Specks.”

To my surprise, he smiled. “Morning. You clean up nice.”

“So do you,” I responded, looking him up and down. He was in a nice shirt and tie as well. “I hope the rain stays away tonight.”

He fell into step beside me as we walked toward the main building.

“Forecast is clear,” he answered, before sipping his coffee. The chilly morning air brought out the pink in his cheeks, and his sandy-brown hair ruffled in the wind. “It will be cloudy and cold, though.”

“Just a typical day in Blue Harbor, then.”

Quinn didn’t respond. His brow pulled together in the way it did when he was concentrating. We entered the building, and he walked down the hall toward his classroom without another word to me. I stared after him a moment before going in the opposite direction to the weight room.

My phone vibrated in my pocket a few minutes later.

Quinn:You look damn good today.

I smiled, and yeah, my stomach did excited little flips. He wasn’t nearly as cold as he put off.

Me:Oh yeah? What do you wanna do to me?

Quinn:You’ll find out tonight. It involves that tie you’re wearing.

Oh hot damn.

Me:Can’t wait ;)

I put my phone away as the football guys came into the weight room, but Quinn wasn’t far from my mind. He seemed so detached at times, then he’d say something or look at me in a way that implied the opposite.
