I smirked as I darted a glance to the duffel bags still fully packed.
Me:Ttyl, loser.
Heath:Love you.
Me:Right back at ya.
Another text came after that, and it was from Tayte. He said there wasn’t a party that night, but he and a few of the guys were going to hit the local bars in town, and he asked if I wanted to join them. I replied, saying I’d be there.
I still needed to go to the campus bookstore and get my textbooks for that semester, and even though I’d rather take a nap or something, procrastinating would only cause unnecessary stress.
As I went back down the hall, I paused outside of Saint’s room. Man, he had a cool name. Too bad his personality didn’t match. He was still typing away at something on his laptop, oblivious to everything else around him.
What kind of person already had homework when classes hadn’t even started yet? Unless he was some kind of super nerd and was getting a head start on it. Or worse, working on something forfunthat didn’t even pertain to school.
“Whatever,” I mumbled under my breath before continuing into the living room and toward the door.
