Brittanyand I spent a lot of time together over the next two weeks. We didn't go to the club, and we didn't play. We had sex, a lot of sex. I exerted some physical control over her—manhandled her— she liked it. I fucked her hard, but she was so amenable to everything. She enjoyed the paintoomuch.
Sceneing with her, my heart wasn'tintoit.
I finished Brooklyn's house and construction on my place wasunderway.
I was going over some sketches when Sethcalled.
"You can call and thank me anytime,"hesaid.
I had been avoiding Justin and Seth over the last couple ofweeks, too.
"Thank you for what?" Iasked.
"For bringing Brittany back intoyourlife."
"Yeah, well. I still hate fuckingsurprises."
"Duly noted, my friend." Seth slammed a door. "We are throwing a little dinner party for Piper this weekend. It's at 7:30 p.m. BringBrittany."
"Idon'tknow."
"You guys have been holed up alone long enough. Bring your sexy sub out in the daylight. It will be fun." Seth chuckled. He was up tosomething.
Brittany wasn't my sub. I didn't bother tocorrecthim.
In fact, I contemplated leaving the lifestyle altogether. Settle down. Family, kids, the whole bit, without thelabels.
I wasn't sure Brittany was the one, but she was hot, and the sex satisfied my darker instincts. She would make a perfect HighlandParkwife.
Icoughed.
I choked on my ownsaliva.
"Dude, you okay?" Sethasked.
Did I really justthinkthat?
We arrivedat Justin's house with a bottle of wine in tow. According to some unknown source, you didn't show up to a dinner party empty-handed.
Seth answeredthedoor.
"Hey, you guys made it." Seth pulled Brittany in for a hug and a kiss, and he gave me a stupid grin before letting her go. "Comeonin."
Seth and Brittany had remained in touch in California. Four years ago, he moved back to Highland Park and into Justin’s guesthouse.
I couldn't live with Seth. He gave off a laid back, go with the flow persona, but Seth was crazy, sadistic, and unpredictable. Justin tamed him, but it was a lot of work. They also had some compatible sexual proclivities that bonded theirfriendship.
I walked through the glass doors into the living room and kitchen area. The first floor of Justin's place was all white—white tile in the kitchen and white carpet in the living room. A few of our friends sat on the white leathercouches.
Brittany walked in and greetedeveryone.
I stayed in the hallway, scanningtheroom.
Justin and Piper were in thekitchen.
