Mindy immediately dropped to her hands and knees in the soft grass and crawled over to her friends. Her dress was so fluffy and full that she kept setting her knee on the lace and hindering her arrival.

Finally, all the girls crowded her.

“You’re here,” Annie exclaimed.

“We’ve missed you,” Lily added, leaning in to hug Mindy after Annie released her.

“I’m so glad you found your perfect Mommy,” Jenny said as she took the third hug. She also turned around to wave two more girls Mindy didn’t know over. “This is Susie and Emmy.”

Mindy smiled at the two women who approached. “Susie is Dr. Farwell’s Little girl. Emmy’s Daddy is also a doctor in town.”

Mindy greeted them both warmly and then followed all of them over to sit on the giant blanket one of their Daddies had spread out. She didn’t think she’d ever been so happy in her entire life. Everything was suddenly perfect.

Twenty-four hours ago, she’d been sad, lonely, and despondent. Now she was about to start a new life in her authentic skin. She couldn’t focus on what all the girls were telling her. She felt like she slid out of her body as she grinned and laughed and watched them chatting with each other.

Soon, she lifted her gaze to seek out her Mommy though and found Tricia hovering close by, watching and smiling indulgently. When she lifted a brow in question, Mindy reached out toward her.

Tricia came to her side and leaned down to whisper in her ear. “Ready to go home, Baby girl?”

“Yes, Ma’am.”

Tricia turned to catch one of the Daddy’s attention. “Will you take a few pictures of us?”

Mindy recognized the Daddy as Adan, one of Jenny’s two Daddies.

Tricia slid around behind Mindy and wrapped an arm around her middle, holding her close. “Smile for the camera, Baby girl.”

Mindy smiled bigger than she ever had in her life. When Adan lowered the camera, she turned toward Tricia. “Let’s go home, Mommy.”

ChapterNine

The walk to Tricia’s house didn’t take long, and soon Mindy found herself inside her new Mommy’s home, eyes wide as she took in the adorable ranch-style house. The outside was white with black shutters. The inside was done in vibrant colors that made Mindy feel happy.

“What do you think, Baby girl?” Tricia asked.

“I love it so much,” Mindy said as she crawled over to her new Mommy. “I love you too, Mommy.”

Tricia grabbed Mindy’s cheeks and kissed her soundly. “I need to be inside you, Baby girl,” she declared in a rough voice.

Mindy flushed, and she bit her lip before releasing it. “What does that exactly mean?” she asked in a soft voice, not wanting to sound as ignorant as she felt.

“Come.” Tricia rose to standing and pointed toward the hallway.

Mindy crawled along behind her, grateful for the soft carpeting. She had to tug her dress out from under her knees several times along the way.

“That dress is very pretty,” Mommy said as she backed into a room. “But it’s not very practical. I don’t think I’ll put it on you again until you’re walking.”

Mindy grinned. “When will I start walking?”

Tricia patted the edge of the huge bed in the middle of the room. “We’ll see. Don’t rush me. I just got you.” She bent down to give Mindy a boost to help her climb onto the bed, reminding Mindy that her legs were indeed wobbly. She would need to regain her strength before she could even consider walking.

As Mindy sat on the edge of the bed, Tricia bent down to remove her shoes and socks.

Mindy fidgeted as she stared down at her Mommy. Her dress felt restrictive, rubbing against her nipples in a way that tormented her and made her long for Tricia’s mouth on her again.

She didn’t even realize she’d reached up to tug on the material across her chest until Tricia lifted her gaze and then her brows.

Mindy jerked her hands down. “The material tickled my titties, Mommy,” she whispered.
