“The smaller ones can come out easier, but it should be fine with the flared base. Or we can try a bigger one.”

“No.” The word leaps out of him. “No thanks, butt plug expert. This is good.”

“Okay, one hour. Timer starts now.” I step up close, reach around him, and press on the base of the plug through the cloth. “Just to make sure.”

He pulls me against him, his hand wandering over my ass. “You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”

“So much.”

“Live it up now, sweetheart. You’re going to be bent over my bed later with my cock buried in your ass.”

“Such confidence that you’ll make it an entire hour,” I tease, trying to hide how much those words affected me. I want him right now.

“Oh, it’s going to happen. I’m going to fuck and spank this sexy ass until it’s bright red.” The sudden crack of his palm stings through my clothes and jostles the plug, making me moan. The sound brings a satisfied smile to his lips. “One hour,” he says, and walks out of the room.

It’s going to be the longest hour ever. Dusty trots into the bathroom and whines while I’m washing my hands. I should get his evening walk out of the way since I’ll be otherwise occupied soon.

Sutton looks over at me from where he stands at the kitchen counter, playing on his phone. “What’s the matter?” I ask, latching Dusty’s leash on. “Afraid to sit down?”

“Don’t worry about me. Worry about what I’m going to do to you later.”

I’m not worried, but it’s all I can think about as I take Dusty on a quick walk around the block. I know the plug isn’t visible through my sweatpants and no one can tell, but I’m still glad I don’t run into any of the neighbors. It’d feel strange to engage in small talk with something stuck up my ass.

The headlights illuminating my driveway when I return test that theory. “Hey!” Maren calls, climbing out of her car as the passenger and back doors open. “Do you have a second? Pops wants to talk to you.”

Pops is Maren’s grandfather. He raised her and they’re super close. He also used to live with her until he came out and started dating Corbin, another older man at Happy Haven. They only recently moved away together.

“Sure, come on in,” I call, letting Dusty in the front door. Sutton looks up at me with his eyes wide. It’s not like I have a good excuse for sending them away.

Maren greets Sutton as she enters and then introduces him to her grandfather and Corbin.

Pops gives me a quick hug and holds out an envelope. “I wanted to deliver this in person. I hope you can make it.”

An invitation waits inside. “You’re getting married! Congratulations.”

He beams at me. “We’re going to go to the courthouse to get hitched, but the invitation is for the reception here at thecommunity building. Maren just told me that Amos is living with you. I would’ve brought him one too, but let him know he’s more than welcome to join you. Hell, the whole neighborhood is welcome.”

“I’ll definitely let him know.” We all sit in the living room while Sutton remains standing. I’m surprised he didn’t make a beeline for his room, but he probably doesn’t want to seem impolite. “So, who proposed?” I ask. “I want details.”

They grin at each other and Corbin speaks up. “I did. We were on a cruise and it seemed like the perfect opportunity.” He pulls out his phone to show me some pictures.

“Show her that video you took during the storm,” Pops says.

“It was wild,” Corbin replies with a gravelly chuckle. “But what an adventure.” He motions for Sutton and I to come and see as he hits play. He started recording on the deck but once the storm starts, it jumps to being shot from a porthole where dark waves slap against the glass.

“Hell no,” Sutton says. “I’d be wearing a dress and sitting in a lifeboat.”

Everybody cracks up, and we all chat for a few minutes. Pops has just announced that they should be going when Dusty starts whining and pawing at the bottom of the empty recliner.

“His ball rolled under there. I got it,” Sutton says. He bends over to retrieve it with his ass facing the couch where the three of them sit. A sudden yelp leaps out of him, and I see the lump in the seat of his pants for a second before he clamps a hand around it and stands up straight.

Oh my god.

He stands there frozen, holding onto the plug through his pants and there’s no way anyone missed it.

“I believe that fart came with friends, son,” Pops says without a hint of amusement in his voice. “Happens to the best of us.”

Without a response, Sutton rushes away down the hall with Dusty on his heels while Corbin adds, “It was a good catch though!”
