He pushes in and out of me, going deeper with every thrust. He’s sweating as he bends down and bites my bottom lip. I grab ahold of the back of his neck and pull him into me. Our tongues invade each other’s mouths as he picks up speed and power. I feel him touch my core and holy shit. It feels amazing.

I lift my legs higher and he plunges deeper. “Oh yes. Yes. Oh my God, yeah,” I shout. His breaths come quicker as he stills and shakes, falling on top of me, still inside me. Our connection is undeniable. He is more than I ever dreamed and he’s all mine. I thank the universe and swear to think positive forevermore.

I wake to the smell of bacon, which is surprising because I know my fridge was empty. I’m deliciously sore as I pull on my robe and freshen up in the bathroom. When I arrive in the kitchen, he’s standing in his boxers at my stove cracking eggs.

“Good morning,” I say, leaning on the wall.

“Hungry?”

I bite my lip and gaze at his gorgeous body. “Uh-huh.”

He smirks and flips a piece of bacon. I walk behind him and kiss his back, sliding my arms around to the front of his chest. “Where did you get all this? I know I didn’t have any food.”

“I ran out while you were sleeping.”

“In your boxers?”

“No, I got dressed and then I got undressed again.”

“Oh, why is that?”

“Because I hoped you’d look at me the way you are and that maybe we’d have a little something before breakfast.”

I chuckle into his back. “I think that could be arranged. So you cook, huh?”

“I dabble.”

“It smells really good.”

He turns off the heat on the stove and slides the eggs to the back burner. He turns to face me and bends to kiss me. “How are you feeling this morning?”

“Like I had amazing sex last night.”

“Hmm. I had amazing sex last night, too.”

He kisses my neck and I hear a buzzing sound coming from the table. He turns to look in the direction of my cell. “It’s been doing that all morning. I’d bet money Luna wants a full report.”

He starts plating the eggs as I walk over to the table and read my messages.

“Congrats, you won. But . . . oh, wow. She said I need to check my email. The script is done. They want to start casting.”

I rush to my laptop and sit on the couch. I open the file and read it out loud. “They’ve scheduled a first round casting call for Wednesday in L.A. I guess I’ll be flying out Wednesday morning.”

“That’s great news. How exciting.”

He places the plate in front of me on the coffee table and hands me a napkin and a fork.

I push my laptop away and start eating. “So good. Thank you so much. You always feed me.”

“I learned early that your stomach is the first step to your heart.”

“Well, you have my heart, remember?”

“How could I forget?”

“When do you work next?”

“Tomorrow. Do you believe this is my last week?”
