I gripped my strap tightly. “What, you scared you will lose your bitch to pussy,” I snapped.

“Never scared. You, on the other hand, should be. Harvey told me you popped up asking her on dates and shit. Little momma, I don’t normally fuck with bitches, but the role you're trying to step into, well,” he said as he threw his hand up, then extended his arm using his two fingers as a trigger.

I swallowed deeply as Foe backed out of the room. The last thing I needed was another nigga after me. I took a deep breath and left the studio. I jogged to my car, tossed my bag in the back seat and got in. Suddenly, the passenger side door opened, and Kareem hopped in. He aimed his gun at my side. “Drive!” he shouted.

My hands shook. “What the fuck! Why do you have a gun on me?” I cried.

He pressed the barrel further into my side. “It’s Halloween, baby, all the spooky shit happens. We got a party to go to, now fucking drive!”

I knew it would be only a matter of time before this nigga lost his mind and the thought of what he had planned for the night terrified the fuck out of me.

LAKIA

I told Fua I would meet him at home. I wanted to surprise him with something nice before we went to the party. I was so fucking proud of him for taking a chance on himself. Fua’s mother and I decided to go shopping. I told her about what happened between my brother and me, and how I had sent the money I had left back to him. When I saw him come into the bar today, I was expecting him to say hi, but he didn’t even look at me. I knew he was still mad, and I had to accept it. I knew it would take a while for him to come around, and I was willing to wait.

We stopped at the jewelry store to buy him a ring. It was officially our two-month anniversary, and I figured it was time to put a ring on him. Shaneice and I scanned the rings until I spotted one I thought was fitting for him. When the guy pulled it out and put it in my hand, I smiled. “This is perfect,” I said.

His mother pointed to a plain black rubber one. “Can we get that one too. I want him to be able to switch while he works so the other one won’t get messed up.”

The guy nodded. He rang us up and she paid for it. I turned to her. “Shaneice, I promise I will pay you back.”

She placed her hand on mine. “You don’t have to. All I need you to do is take care of my baby. Both of you are about to do great things. You will need each other.” She smiled.

I took the boxes and slid them into my purse. When we left the store, we parted ways. Fua had his bike, and he had given me the keys to his truck. I got in and took off. The excitement that fueled me made me press on the gas to get to him faster. Who knew love could feel so freeing? Monfua was the last thing I was expecting, but everything I needed in my life. We had done something that most people wouldn’t do, and that was get married first. We were able to figure it out and find happiness within.

Everything I should have gotten from Kirk, I got from Fua.Love.It had found me. It had given me a chance to see what it really felt like. It taught me things, put me in my place, opened me up to accept my failures, which I feared, and, at the end of it all, gave me a husband who saw no one but me.Love.I found it, and didn’t want to let it go. All I wanted was Fua.

The sun was setting by the time I pulled up to the house. I knew we had a few hours before the party, but I wanted to spend a little time with him before we left. I hurried out of the truck to the door, then started to knock, then smiled when I realized I now had my own key. I unlocked the door and swung it open to a sight I wasn’t expecting. I didn’t know whether to cry or giggle. “Fua,” I called out. “O fea oe?” I called out.

It was dark, with dark orange candles illuminating the space leading to the back. I peeked my head in first before I stepped inside. There was a large black box on the floor, adorned with a giant orange bow. I closed the door before I leaned down and picked it up. I opened the box to a sign. ‘Put it on.’

I didn’t hesitate, I began to strip out of my clothes to put on a flimsy orange skirt, black knee-high socks, an orange crop top with a black mid-waist corset. There was one more thing inthere, and when I realized what it was, I laughed. “Little Orange Riding Hood. He wants to role play.” I laughed.

I picked up my pace and followed the orange flower leis that trailed along the candles toward the back. The closer I got to the dark, the darker it got when I reached the bedroom door. Fua came from the side, and my pussy screamed because the big bad wolf didn’t have shit on him.

MONFUA

I’ve been waiting weeks to get to this moment. Every time I thought it was the right time, it never was, but today was the muhfuckin’ day. It was our anniversary, and I was going to go in. I ended up checking my bag that Chev had given us, and sure enough, there was something in there, a fucking paddle. Now, everything Diamond told me made sense. Sukalati had been a bad girl and although she redeemed herself, tonight she was going to pay.

When I hit that corner and saw her in that costume, I wanted to skip it all and fuck her where she stood, but it was about taking it slow and easy. She stepped into the dimly lit bedroom and went right into character as she strutted past me. Her head turned slowly as it rested on her shoulder to look at me. Her eyes held seduction in them as mine devoured hers.

“Big bad wolf, huh?” she purred.

My lips curled up. “Big bad Fua!” I howled.

When she made it to the bed, she slowly turned toward me, “I’m not supposed to talk to strangers. I’m supposed to go straight to Granny’s house.”

I got down on my knees and began to crawl toward her like prey. “Aua e te gaoioi,” I growled.

Closer.

She backed up slightly. “What big arms you have,” she muttered.

“Better to hold you with,” I grumbled.

She grinned. “What big mouth you have.”

My head raised slowly, “Better you to eat you with,” I grumbled.
