“I missed you too, baby,” I said, “so much.”

She nodded and I reached down to wrap my hand around her throat. I tilted her head back and looked into her face.

She blinked up at me and I groaned when I felt her walls squeeze around me.

“I love you,” she whimpered.

My hips jerked immediately and I came inside of Jayme with a grunt. I pulled back slightly and shoved myself back into her all the way while I filled her.

I kissed along her face while I lazily let my dick drift back and forth within her walls.

“I love you, Jayme,” I assured her.

She leaned in and licked up my chest to my throat. I turned my head to suck her tongue into my mouth and we kissed a little bit more before we were able to pull ourselves apart.

We took a shower then climbed into bed. Jayme cuddled up to me and I traced my fingertips up and down her arm.

We were still laid in silence when my phone buzzed on the nightstand. I reached over and grabbed it. I had about ten people who could bypass my do not disturb setting and they were mine and Jayme’s parents and siblings since they had Blake frequently, Darryl, and now Dyani.

I saw it was baby girl as soon as I grabbed the phone and answered immediately.

“What’s up, Yani?” I yawned. “You okay, baby?”

“Yeah. I was actually calling to see if you were okay.”

“Yeah. I’m straight. Why? What’s up?”

“Uhm, I just talked to Darryl and he mentioned there was a crazy fight or something.”

“Oh, yeah. It was nothing too crazy.” I smiled at the thought of her hearing about a little fight and immediately feeling the need to hop on my line. “It’s sweet that you called, baby, but I promise I’m good.”

Silence took over the line for a moment.

“So you never worry about becoming the victim of gang violence?” she asked quietly.

“You mean like a nigga trying to get their stripes and rolling up on me? Fuck nah.” I chuckled. “A nigga gon’ get laid down and end up being my mothafuckin’ victim if they ever try it like that. I’ll float a nigga up to them ghetto ass photoshopped clouds quick.”

Dyani forced a little giggle.

“Alright, Arris.”

“I promise I’m not walking around chilling and vulnerable. The shit I talk is because I have the hands and bullets to back that shit up.”

“Okay. Good.” She exhaled. “Well, tell Jayme I said hello and I'm going to let you go so you can actually get some sleep.”

“You sure you good?”

“I’m positive. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.”

“And I appreciate that. For real.”

“Of course.”

I exhaled.

“I miss you,” I admitted, “and I’d love to see you tomorrow between tattoos if that’s cool.”

“Where would you want to meet up?”
