“Twenty,” she said, pulling the tie of her bikini top loose as he carried her into their room. “Thirty if you’re committed.”
Lowering his mouth to hers, he kissed her, softly at first, his parted lips brushing over hers. As he trailed his fingertips down her arm, he deepened the kiss while he found the engagement ring on her finger and twirled it from side to side.
“To you?” he said after pulling away, meeting her eyes. “Always.”
“I love you, baby.”
Every time she called him baby, he melted like a popsicle left out in the sun. “I love you too.”
“Magic’s in the water,” she whispered, arching her back while he moved his mouth to her breast.
“Love is in the air,” he finished, setting her gently on the bed, stripping her bare, and making thorough use of every single one of his thirty minutes.
