"You motherfucker!" Aaron shouts, pointing his finger in Grey's face who stands there emotionlessly but I can tell he's far from happy.

"Aaron!" I shout, my mouth falling open.

"You hit awomanhalf your size you sick fuck," Aaron charges at Grey.

"Aaron shut up!" I yell as loud as I think I ever have, "dad hit me not him!"

Aaron freezes. He turns back to me slowly.

"What?" he asks.

"Dad did this," I sigh, "he's been hurting me for a while. Grey's never touched me. Well, technically hehastouch- never mind you didn't hear that."

I feel my cheeks blush and from the corner of my eye, I see Grey biting the side of his lip, a small smirk on his face.

"Why didn't you tell me Azzy?" his voice turns soft, completely ignoring my previous comment. Thank gosh.

"I was scared. But he's away now. And he will be for a long time," I look to Grey and he nods, as a 'you're doing great sweetie' type of thing.

"Where's your mom?"

"Halfway into Kentucky now. To her new house," I bite my lip, worried for his reaction.

"Why aren't you with her?" he asks slowly.

"I'm not moving with her." Aaron stays quiet as he thinks over my words.

"So where are you gonna go..?" he hesitates, knowing I can't pay for this house even a little bit.

I look over at Grey and fiddle with my fingers nervously.

"With um, Grey," I almost wince. Aaron's eyes widen before he shakes his head vigorously.

"No. You're not. Are you stupid?" he asks and I shrink back a bit.

"You must be fuckin' stupid to be talking to her like that," Grey's upper lip curls in a sneer.

"Do you want to take this outside?" Aaron steps up, even though he's shorter than Grey.

I'm sorry but poor Aaron would get demolished if Grey actually would fight him. Grey doesn't get egged on very easily though. Well, sometimes.

Aaron swivels back around to me when he sees the look on Grey's face.

"You can't move in with this guy!" he stresses, "your little 'friend' could be a murderer!"

"We're not friends. We're together," I should really shut my mouth.

"Even worse! This dude could be like Ted Bundy for all we know," he motions to Grey.

"Why would he be a politician?" I grow confused. What?

"TedBundybabe, not TedCruz," Grey helps me.

"Thank you, Sugar."

Did he say babe? Woah baby.

"You're not like Ted Bundy, correct?" I roll my eyes and he shakes his head, rolling his eyes too.
