“Stand up. Unless you want your hands and knees raw.”

With his palms flat against the dumpster and his jeans and briefs down to his ankles, Mac waited with his legs shoulder-width apart. He listened, over the sound of his heart vibrating between his ears, as Jake fumbled with his clothing. Mac’s head was filled with so many thoughts and emotions that he never stopped to think about lube, until slicked fingers slipped between his cheeks and toyed with him.Jake carried lube?He almost chuckled at the notion, until those strong, wet fingers made their entrance. It was a push of power. A beautiful burn. And Mac let out a deep grunt. Was it possible to hear someone smile?Because that’s exactly what he thought happened. Maybe he just knew Jake well enough to know the guy was smiling at the way Mac was writhing and reveling in the push and pull.

This was too much. A fantasy that crashed into reality. Mac kept thinking how unbelievable the moment was, until the feel of latex hit his bare skin and Jake’s length pushed against his entrance. And then Jake was inside him, thrusting and moaning and bringing Mac places he only dreamed about.

Mac gripped the edge of the dark green dumpster and hung onto it while he pushed back on his heels, meeting Jake’s thrusts. The slap of skin, the sound of Jake’s heavy breaths, and the fullness inside him, had Mac begging for release. He couldn’t hold out any longer and reached for his shaft.

Jake pushed Mac’s hand away, as if he owned Mac’s climax, and stroked him with long purposeful pumps of his fist. Never had anyone’s touch made Mac so weak. So unbelievably helpless. In that moment, Jake consumed him. He felt Jake in his pores. In his blood. In his head. And in his body. He hung onto the dumpster and rode out his climax. He had no control over his own body. Jake took charge and Mac let him. It was the most intense, the most unexpected bout of pleasure, and the last thing Mac expected to happen.

Jake finished with his arms wrapped around Mac’s waist and his chin on Mac’s shoulder. It was a moment of tenderness that was almost as unexpected as what just took place. Mac reached down to cover Jake’s hands, but Jake abruptly pulled away.

Zipping up his jeans, Jake nervously snapped his head in both directions, scrutinizing every inch of the dark alleyway to make sure no one had seen them. He turned to Mac, who was tucking his shirt into his jeans and analyzing Jake’s reaction.

“Tell anyone about this, and I’ll cut your balls off.”

Everything made sense now and became crystal clear. The tough-guy attitude and constant harassment was just a cover. Jake had feelings for him. And Jake was gay. A smile passed over Mac’s lips at the irony.

“What’s so funny?”

Mac smiled wider. “You.”

“Me?”

“You’re the toughest guy I know, and you’re afraid to let people know you’re gay.”

“Just because we fucked doesn’t mean I’m gay.”

A chuckle automatically escaped Mac’s lips. “That’s the exact definition of gay.”

Jake grabbed the front of Mac’s T-shirt, but this time, it was different. Less menacing and more playful. “Not one fucking word about this to anyone. I mean it.”

The desperation behind Jake’s eyes squeezed Mac’s heart, and he had a better understanding of the tug of war going on inside this façade of a man. His eyes dropped to those strong rosy lips, and he pressed his mouth to them in order to capture one last kiss.

Jake immediately jerked away. “Don’t fuckin’ kiss me. What the hell’s wrong with you?”

A small laugh left Mac’s lips and he slowly shook his head.

“Quit it with the fucking smile.” Jake tried to pull off his tough-guy face, but it held no threat whatsoever. Quite the opposite, actually. He couldn’t hide his own genuine smile, and it covered his face as he spoke. “I’m serious. You better zip it.”

Mac knew that Jake could never come out as openly gay and still live in the same house – or the same city – under his father’s iron fist. He understood. “I get it,” he said softly. “Don’t worry. I won’t say anything.”

One more cautious look down the alleyway, and Jake sprinted away, lost in the darkness of the night.
