Can no one follow directions?

 It’s Killian and Leander.

“Dudes, keep clear, you could get hurt. Besides, notice the ax?”

“Dudes?” says Leander, raising an eyebrow at me.

“Whatever,” I mumble, turning my back on him.

Killian throws a banana skin at me. “Can we please have a conversation? You keep avoiding me, and the three of us need to talk. Like three grown adults, preferably.”

I groan, pick up the banana skin and pitch it into the bushes (no littering on the island, please) then finally turn to face them. “I don’t feel like talking.”

“Too bad,” Leander says, grabbing the ax from me.

“Yep,” says Killian. “Take a seat.”

Fuck this. I guess I’ll let them say what they need to say, then they can fuck off and I can get back to chopping shit. I lean against a tree and cross my arms. “Well?”

“Ooh, I like it when you are all dark and fecking broody,” Killian laughs.

Fuck him and the Irish horse he rode in on.

I give him the cold and immovable Gray look.

He does not look daunted at all. In fact the fucker laughs at me.

“You can be Mr. Moody if you like, but we are going to talk.”

 Fuck.

“And I’d like to talk about you and me, and our connection.”

“By connection, do you mean how you sucked each other's cocks?” asks Leander.

I shoot daggers at both of them but they ignore me.

“Look, Gray,” Killian persists. “I don’t want what we had to be a one-off. And I also want to talk about Daisy, and how I also have a connection with her.”

 Hmmm, whatever.

I narrow my eyes at Leander. “What about you? What’s your beef?”

“No beef at all, but I am happy to be entertained by your squirming around and being uncomfortable about your feelings,” he giggles. “Me and Killian thought it would be a good idea to hash everything, so that includes me.”

 Fucking Leander.

“Fuck it,” I sit down on the sand. “Get on with it then.”

Killian nods. “We’ll start with me and Leander—lead by example and all that.”

 I shrug, it’s their party.

“Leander and I have discussed that we both have very strong feelings for Daisy, and we’ve come to the conclusion that sharing is caring. Daisy likes us both, and we are not going to put her through the ordeal of having to choose. We figured it out like adults.”

Leander puts out a fist, and Killian looks at it quizzically, “I’m not sure this is a fist-bump moment, Leander. That seems a touch too ‘bro’ for me.”

Leander looks at his fist then at Killian and puts on a hurt expression. “I thought it was bromantic, you need to expand your brocabulary, bro.”
