“You haven’t done anything wrong,” he told Jamie, putting his hand on Jamie’s shoulder, letting him know they both were here for him. “When you do, you can apologize.”

“That’s right. You’re safe, and you can relax, baby boy. You can breathe.” Bran kept rocking and holding on.

The doorbell rang, letting them know their food had arrived. Silas ignored it. It could sit on the stoop all night long if that was how long Jamie needed their attention.

Eventually the tears stopped, though, and Silas slipped out to grab their food.

Whoa.

He’d been hungry. His mouth was watering as he brought the bag upstairs to the bedroom.

“Late lunch!” He held up the bags.

Bran smiled. “Yay. I’m starving. We’ll just eat here. Jamie needs a little cuddle time.”

“We all need some cuddle time together, eh?” He slipped back out of his robe and climbed into bed with his lovers. “I ordered sandwiches. I was thinking you’d like the taco one with guacamole? And there’s a chicken with avocados.”

“Th-thanks. I’m sorry for being a psycho. I try not to be.”

“You’ve been holding that in for a long time.” Bran pushed a strand of hair behind Jamie’s ear. “And we want you to know that we’re a safe place for you to bring your truth.”

Silas nodded. “And we will defend you. This is a sanctuary.” Even if Jamie wasn’t their forever boy, that would be true. But he was. And eventually, Jamie would see it too. “Now, munch away. No one can cope with an empty belly.”

Jamie grinned at him, nodded. “Thanks.”

He gave everyone the two sandwiches he’d ordered with them in mind. “You wanna share?”

“I’m open to that.” Bran looked at what he’d ordered for his silver-haired lover. “Oh, these are good choices, thanks, babe.”

“Of course.”

“I’m happy to share,” Jamie offered. “I’m easy.”

Of course he was.

“They’re conveniently already cut in half, too,” Bran noted.

“They are?” He looked at his. “Oh! I got the twelve-inch ones instead of the six-inch ones. Ooops.” Good thing they were all hungry. And of course, his plan of leftovers for when they got hungry later in the evening still worked. “They’ll be great for later. We’ll all share.”

“I’ll have to go home soon, do some writing, clean my clothes for work.”

“Oh.” He didn’t know why he felt so disappointed, he’d known Jamie wouldn’t be staying forever. Not yet, anyway.

“Why don’t you go get your clothing and your writing and come back here,” Bran suggested. “We’ll throw your work clothes in the washer, and you can get set up for the writing. That way we all get to spend a night together.”

His lover was so smart.

“We can even drive you over. That way you don’t have to walk with your laptop,” he offered.

“You don’t mind?” Oh, perfect.

“Wouldn’t have offered if we did. We can do it after we’ve eaten.” And before they got distracted by all this lovely nakedness and decided to go for more orgasms before they got Jamie back here for the evening and night.

Then they’d learn what Jamie’s schedule was and help him get back to work.

For now, they’d eat their very late lunch.
