Confused, I let my eyes travel toward the ceiling and right above Emerald, was a hanging sprig of mistletoe. How perfect, I laughed.
“Did that appear by magic?” I smirked, keeping my voice low.
“We shouldn’t tempt fate. It’s unlucky to ignore Christmas traditions. Or so I’ve read.”
“Oh, yeah?” I stood and made my way to her, pushing all coherent thoughts aside. “Who am I to argue tradition?”
I turned her chair to face me, ignoring the groan it made on the hardwood floor. She gasped, sending heat straight to my cock as I kneeled, bringing myself eye level with my beautiful Emerald. She was seated before me like a queen on her throne. Little pants escaped her lips as I leaned in close enough to taste the wine on her breath.
“If I don’t kiss you right now, under this mistletoe, I might lose my damn mind, Emerald.” I waited , giving her time to tell me to stop. That we shouldn’t do this.
“If you don’t kiss me under this mistletoe right now, Sir, I most definitely will lose mine,” she panted.
“Fuck, yes,” I hissed and brushed my lips against hers, softly at first, tasting the sweetness that was Emerald. Until she moaned and opened for me, gliding her tongue against mine. I was a fucking goner for her.

OMG!
Logan Connor kisses like a fucking God. I needed to document this while I’m taking a moment to collect myself in the restroom. Why do I do this to myself?!
From,
Me
Ourservercameinat that moment, carrying plates of food. We broke apart and I couldn’t hide the grin that took over my face.
“That was…” I started.
“Perfect.”
“Yeah,” I whispered, too afraid to fully admit how I was feeling for this man in such a short time.
His hands never left my body as we ate and chatted about our lives. The conversation flowed despite our many differences and I found it hard to stop smiling.
“Ready to go?” he asked, once we’d both cleared our dessert plates. I stretched my limbs and yawned.
“Yeah. I feel a food coma coming on. I’m sure it’s late and our server wants to get home.”
“Luckily we only have to go right upstairs.” He offered his hand to help me up. I reveled in the feel of our skin touching.
Our normally busy lobby was quiet and still as we passed by. Someone had dampened the fire, leaving the Christmas tree as the main source of light in the dim space.
“How do you feel about staying at the hotel for the time being? If you’d rather be home, it’s absolutely fine with me. I know Woods asked you to stay, but I think I can handle myself. Or at least, I could try.” The corner of his mouth tipped up. I squeezed his hand, still wrapped in mine.
“I’m actually enjoying the break from my roommate and her boyfriend. They’re constantly fighting or having make-up sex. There’s no in-between with those two. We’re friends and I love her, but the drama is a bit much.”
Kiya had texted me earlier in a panic, asking me why a bunch of my stuff was missing. In all the chaos, it had slipped my mind to let her know my plans. If it bothered her that I’d be gone, she didn’t say. And she was not one to keep her feelings hidden.
