“We gotta do something.”
My eyes rolled to the ceiling of my office in the Black Room. I shook my head and looked down on this soft ass nigga, Caine, as he stood in front of my desk. This punk was still on this scary shit.
“She didn’t recognize you,” I told him for the umpteenth time. “It’s been over a month and ain’t no smoke came your way. You good.”
“How you know?” he pressed. “She could be making a deal right now.”
“You trippin’, bruh,” I told him.
“No, I’m not. I’m telling you, she recognized me, and I ain’t goin’ down for this shit!”
“A’ight, a’ight, a’ight. Chill, man, damn! You sound like a bitch!” I barked. “I’m gonna take care of it.”
“When?” Caine nagged.
My hand slammed down on my desk. “Don’t question me, motherfucka!Get out!”
Caine held his hand up in submission and walked towards the door.
“And close my fucking door!”
After leaving, he closed it behind him.
“Bitch ass nigga,” I muttered to myself.
Killing Solae had been on my mind while I was laying in that hospital bed. That bitch had had the nerve to cross me not once, or twice, but three fucking times. She needed to be put in her fucking place but rather than killing her, I would have much rather seen her rot in prison. In death, she would have peace but in jail, she would suffer every day. The thought of that put a smile on my face. Solae was handled. It would only take as long as her trial took to get her ass back for coming against me. But Caine? Every day, he was coming off like a scared, little bitch. He was scared that Solae would talk. I knew that he was so worried about not taking the fall for that murder, that he would talk the moment he got the chance.
Hewas the person I needed to take care of...and quick.
I sat at my desk scrolling through my phone to my text message inbox. I had been sending Moses text messages trying to link up with him, but that motherfucka had been acting like a bitch too since he got out of the hospital. I knew that he felt some type of way about what I had done, but he needed to stop being a bitch and get back in that studio. He was my only ticket to the money, until I came up with another come up.
As I noticed that Moses still hadn’t gotten back to me, my phone rang. Imagine my surprise when I saw that Solae was calling. I hadn’t heard from her since she stabbed me.
I laughed while answering, “What the hell could you possibly want?”
“I just want to know why you lied to the police.”
“Because I could,” I taunted her. “One way or another, I’mgoing to make sure you pay for crossing me. I’d rather it be by my own hands, but by the hands of a judge is good enough.”
The same demonic smile spread across my face that appeared every time I imagined this bitch suffering. She had tried to fuck up my life by burning my money, showing up at Aaliyah’s crib, and trying to take me out. She thought she was hurt before? It put so much pleasure in me to hear how much pain she was in now that my dick got hard with every tearful word.
“Rah, you know that I am not a violent person and that I would never hurt my kids! You lied to them! You don’t have to make this worse for me by lying.”
“See? That’s your problem,” I sneered. “You keep forgetting that I can do whatever the fuck I want to do.”
“You know I wasn’t jealous of Aaliyah or bitter. I didn’t even know about her until recently! I left you! You keep lying and getting me and your kids in real trouble. This is not a game. Essence was sexually assaulted because of these sadistic games you keep playing, Rah. That’s why I was mad at you and you know it!”
I let out a laugh that dripped with arrogance. “I tell everybody what they need to hear to get what I want. And I’ll keep doing it until you pay for thinking you can ever leave me.”
“Rah, please...This isn’t a game! I can go to jail for a long time.”
“That’s the plan, bitch!” I spat.
“Rah–”
I cut her crocodile tears short. “Why haven’t I seen my kids?”
“You know why!”
