It doesn’t bother me so much that she wants another man. I’m cool with sharing her because I know how she feels about me, but it’s the fact that it’s my brother whom I’ve hated most of my life.
His fingers move down over his ass as he begins to mutter her name. “Genni, fuck.”
I wait for the moment she slaps him in the face for calling her that or moves off his dick with frustration. Maybe I want that to happen, but instead, her hips move faster as she chases that orgasm I know will transform her entire face. I want to see it, but decide to let him have it this once. This one isn’t meant for me.
Laith’s balls tighten just as Slayer tips over that edge, her mewls of pleasure echoing around my head. I stand and head for the door, grabbing my cut off the dresser. “I’m going to grab a drink. Slayer, we need to talk once you’re cleaned up.” I don’t mean to sound harsh, but I did come here for a reason.
I don’t give the room a second look as I close the door behind me. Maybe I’ll get used to the thought of them together, but that won’t be tonight. The main room is empty save for Chip at the bar and a few Dragons sleeping on the couch.
“It’s late,” Itskas I sit on a stool at the bar. “Why aren’t you asleep?”
“And not hear what the three of you are up to?” He gives me a mock shocked face. “Did you touch your brother’s stick and berries?”
“Not tonight.” I lean over the bar as he grabs me a beer. “Do you want to touch my brother’s stick and berries?”
He laughs and fires me a heated look. “You both are handsome dudes.”
“Fuck, yeah, I am.” I nod as I tip the beer to my mouth. “How is it around here? Where’s Chino?”
“He took off earlier when your girl played an explicit video of the two of them.” Chip chuckles as I spit out my mouthful of beer. He immediately slips the towel off of his shoulder to wipe down the bar.
“What?” I wipe my mouth with my hand. “What video?”
“It was clearly the two of them, and Chino was admitting he was falling for her while he was balls deep. She was showing the club just who theemotionalone was out of the two of them.” He continues to laugh as I plaster a grin on my face. It’s a good thing I wasn’t here for that, because the club would be missing a President and a Vice.
A few minutes later, Slayer and Laith come out from the room, both looking a little disheveled as Chip gives them a knowing look. He drops the whiskey bottle between them, then heads down the bar to restock the fridge.
“I came here to check up on you,” I tell Slayer. “But also to let you know Cash came by after you exiled him.”
“He went to my club?” She stands from the stool, her face reddening with anger.
“Yeah. He wanted help. I let him rest for a bit, but I sent him on his way before coming here.” I take another sip of my beer as she growls.
“You should’ve killed him.” She plops back on the stool, her face still red and her hands fisted.
“I don’t want to make this transition harder for you. He also took Carrie and Angel with him.” I turn to face her as she fumes. “Killing them would be a blatant act of war.”
“He’s right,” Laith cuts in. “You can’t have Dragon blood on your hands right now, not with Jaeger in the basement. The brothers would become uneasy.”
“But it still poses a problem for us. He’s probably on his way to someone he will want to form an alliance with and this person is not someone we want coming down on us,” I inform her. “He was once a big player around here, someone who ran a lot of the illegal side of club business. He’s still around behind the scenes where he’d rather be, but an exiled brother and a couple of dead Presidents will bring him back out.”
“Who?”
I look from Malik to Laith and search his face for answers. When he looks as confused as I do, I turn back to Malik with my brow raised. “Tell me!”
He opens his mouth to speak, but the sounds of shouting and gunfire from the front have us all jumping off our seats. I’m glad I grabbed my cut from Jaeger’s room before coming out here because I have his gun still in the pocket.
“What’s happening?” I shout as the brothers on the couch wake with a start, pulling their guns from their cuts.
“Sounds like an intruder,” Chip adds as he pulls a sawed-off shotgun out from beneath the bar.
We all approach the door as we hear a car engine pull up in front, then the sounds of doors opening and closing. “Laith,” I call over my shoulder. “Wake up the others.”
I hear his boots hitting the floor as he runs off, and I look around the room. Malik is in front of me, his gun aimed at the door. Chip is behind the bar, the shotgun propped up against his shoulder. Then there are three other brothers spread around the room, all of them facing the door with their guns drawn.
“Is it Cash?” I ask as a loud, booming knock sounds at the door.
“Let’s hope not,” Malik mutters. “Do not answer that.”
